Good communication would avoid angry people today

Hello,

Good communication is essential. The announcement to disable Uber Unique was not handled optimally.

“We have temporarily disabled Uber Uniques from dropping in-game while we address an issue with Helltide Chest drops. Players will not be able to obtain the 6 Uber Unique items until a hotfix which we expect to be implemented on Friday afternoon Pacific Time. Other unique items will still be available from these chests.”

If you simply state the actual reason behind that and explain the solution, everyone would be relieved and eagerly await your return.

Example:

We have temporarily disabled Uber Uniques from dropping in-game while we address an issue, that barbarians were able to abuse it to get the helmet easier compared to other classes with Helltide Chest drops. Players will not be able to obtain the 6 Uber Unique items until a hotfix which we expect to be implemented on Friday afternoon Pacific Time. The fix will make sure that the chance to get this helmet will be fair for everyone. Other unique items will still be available from these chests.

Whatever the barbarians do it will always be an abuse / exploit so you need to fix it instantly in fact which happened.

Blizzard hates fun… It’s just that simple. They put items in game that are 1 in 800,000 uniques dropped. Those items might as well not exist. Some people got lucky and opened chests and got several, boo hoo Blizzard. They nerf one more fun aspect in this game and im asking for a refund…

That was just an example. Could be also drop rates bug or anything else. :slight_smile:

Its just the way to communicate these situations can be improved so easily.

They had like 3 options and picked the worst possible. (a) leave it be, let everyone have the same chance. (b) it was a bug só let’s remove it. (c) let the people who got via bug maintain and prevent the others to get it.
