I have +golem damage on my weapon, rings, and amulet, and some in paragon, and my stats are only showing about +305% which is vastly below what I have. I logged out and back in and same. It seems to be doing appropriate damage, but prior to this patch it displayed correctly (at least prior to VOH.)
Same issue, but I think im not doing enough dmg.
Progression feels off and not fine tuned to lead one on to continue the power increase journey with itemization that translates to increments of power. (except I have good enough gear?)
My build is also mostly dps and the limiting amount of dps is holding me back from progressing in a not good way, in that I have to go back and over farm and even that doesnt help much.
So in that sense it feels like its not intended if its meant to be fine tuned. Im also way over lvled for t3, but cant do enough dps while ofc following the build for golem.
And seeing that bug makes me think thats were the missing damage is. Since those stats are meant to be reliable from the character sheet. If you remove gear, it will adjust the stats on the character sheet, so that means for w/e reason, those are my stats even they should be much higher.
It seems to affect all minions. Not just golem. It’s not a tooltip error. Something is not being calculated correctly. My damage is roughly 10% of what it was in a pure minion build.
This could be a fluke, too, but the amount it shows is .1 off of my Golem glyph, which could be a difference in rounding, and it isn’t showing my +damage to skeleton warriors or mages at all. So maybe that’s all the character sheet is showing? Just the glyph? It is also underreporting my +summon damage, but I didn’t look at that in-depth.
Four games in and we still have bad math and bad character sheets. Nothing in this game is trustworthy.
I think that they changed how the character sheet shows Golem, Warrior and Mage damage. Before, it would multiply the sheet damage by whatever multiplier you had (including the specific glyphs additive damage), so that it wouldn’t be unheard to have +1500 or +2000% to Golem. Right now, it will show +250 or +300% instead, but it seems like damage is being dealt allright.
I’m only at early T4 with my new character though, but I don’t think minions are doing 90% less damage than before, but there are no reliable tooltips or character sheet.
I’m not following any build/guide so I don’t know if my damage is where it should be at, but it feels fine at T4. No mythic, no Blood moon breeches and no decent runes so far.
Well that’s part of the problem though; additive damage alone I have over 2000% golem damage, and it’s not showing that.
This is an eternal character though so I can tell it definitely feels the same as it did before the patch, but I’m still worried it’s not being calculated accurately if they can’t even add it up for the character sheet.
Oh I see. Tooltip and character sheet are so bad… It’s hars to gauge the impact of a change without testing it, and sometimes it’s not even obvious unless it’s a huge multiplier.
There’s some wonky thing going on yoo with army of the dead [ x ] % damage modifier. It increases or decreases even if all I did was increase in glyphs level and paragon. If anything, it should simply increase, not decrease.
I have this issue too, on my Eternal minion Necromancer. I’m not able to complete the same level in the Pit now that I was able to do pre-patch despite making no changes to my character and seem to be several levels behind pre-patch now. I’ve noticed:
- Character sheet is completely missing categories for + Golem damage and + Skeleton Warrior damage, though I should still have bonuses from both from paragon boards and minion masteries if not also other sources
- '+ Skeletal Mage damage does show still on character sheet but only counts what I have from paragon boards and so does not seem to reflect gains from skeletal mage mastery/etc.
If the summon changes with the patch categorize these damage types differently now than all 3 categories should be gone, but I still have the skeletal mages one. I think this shows there is a problem with how the damage bonuses are being handled and based on my lower damage output, it sure feels like they’re not being applied correctly, or at all.
Unless reduced damage was the intended result of the changes, of course.
But for me this does not seem to be just a display problem, my damage output is noticeably reduced.
Bumping this because it needs to be addressed.
Update on this: my golem glyph is now at 313%, and my +golem damage in my character sheet shows 312.9%. So really pretty sure now it’s only displaying the damage from glyphs, (with a rounding differences) and not showing any other source of +specific minion type damage.
