Everyone who is on the pit pushing list should be investigated by blizzard team for illegal gold buying activities.
We know some gear pieces are sold for 5+ billions of gold. People pushing the pit are very motivated to flaunt their E- ego by swiping MasterCard, skipping hundreds of hours of grind required to get 2-3-4GA pieces, and buy them directly for real money.
It is also unfair for everyone else, as they get unfair advantage by investing £££, gainint substantial resources to boost their builds.
Streamers tend to get free stuff from players in this strange sudo-friendship. They however could as they get quite a bit of money monitizing off there followers.
You are absolutely correct, but you will likely be completely stomped on by wallet warriors the world over.
The reality is that EVERYONE who takes part in the top end market is at the least indirectly benefiting from real money trading, even if they themselves don’t buy the gold. The items’ worth is defined by the amount of disposable income available to those who want to buy it, and those who buy gold have (and thus distribute) a much higher amount of gold. As a result, people who sell items to those players also have much higher incomes, which trickles down to everyone else.
TL:DR; if you are taking part in trading, a significant portion of the gold you are receiving was almost certainly sold in real money trading at some point in its lifetime, even if you didn’t buy it yourself.
let them have that advantage. Eventually theyll get banned, however, whats even more likely, is that they spend cash on items that they are going to “brick”.
Also, just because they are having an advantage by doing RMT (or getting stuff for free in case of streamers) it doesnt mean you are at a disadvantage.
I got tired of my minion necro and sold everything to the vendor, only to find out afterwards that my GA hellbent commander amulet is selling for 8-10 billion gold on internet
Wouldn’t worry about something you have no control over. Those who RMT, or rather those who are caught engaging in such activities will be banned eventually when the ban waves happen.
Take a deep breath my friend. Calm down, and realize the world doesn’t revolve around RMT. If this particular topic and people you suspect (without substantial evidence) bothers you this much, I would suggest staying away from any online video games.
I never touched the amulet (Not account bound), but next time I get GA amulet with good passive, I’m gonna check its market value instead of YOLO vendoring it.
if some clownzo is buying gold or the cash shop items it has no relevance at all, this game is about as competitive as two hamsters fighting for watermelon, literally cute but entirely irrelevant.
If you’re spending real money in this game the real problem is the fact that you think the game is worth spending money on, that’s the real problem, because you clearly haven’t gamed.
Common sense? Unless you think people are regularly farming billions, 10s of billions of gold, rmt is rife.
People regularly post about their 20billion 3ga items bricking, perhaps not realising that 20billion gold is 400 whispers turn ins. There aren’t many people who would come CLOSE to farming 20billion gold even once, let alone many times to afford multiple items.
Even if you personally have not rmted, the prices are defined by those who have; it is a near certainty that people engaging in trade are receiving at least some portion of their gold in previously rmted gold. It isn’t a matter of “ohmaybe, some legitimate players might just farm that much…”. No. People claiming to have legitimately farmed hundreds of billions of gold legitimately (and not being traded it by someone else who rmted instead) are simply lying.
Getting 20 billion isnt that hard if your activity trading. I got a couple billion from trading a few items. You can sell a good 2ga for about 100-250 mil and 3ga can end up being 500 mil to a bil.
I mean you are not hypothetically wrong but Blizzard has already turned a blind eye towards streamers over and over.
Personally, I don’t care. Cheaters don’t realize it but they are doing themselves a disservice. And it usually catches up to them in the end because the keep doing it over and over.
Play for yourself and don’t worry what others do. Trust in Karma.
