Logging into D4 today to just grind some Whisper Cashes. I noticed that all gold related labels and icon are missing from the character screen post update. When interacting with a Vendor it shows the gold on their side and also whenever you are in the Bargain menu on the Spirit Brazier for Kurast Undercity runs. The obols labels and icons were moved far to the left where the gold labels and counter used to be in the character screen. I am not sure if this was reported already. I took a screenshot as well if this helps. Thank ya!
This is not a bug. Since there are now a number of different currencies, the game allows you to choose which to display, up to a max of 3. You almost certainly deselected gold in your materials tab.
