Hasnt happened to me. I exclusively play a ranged rogue using penetrating shot. Havent changed my build since 20 and im 81 lol.
What a crappy bug. Leveling glyphs is already a tedious pain to begin with.
See asking questions about how they played the dungeon or w.e is cool.

Yes. It has been so frequent lately, I’ve been legit mapping out every square inch of the dungeon and taking twice as long to complete. Nothing at all seems to help.
I am running barrage, though. And I’ve only ever seen it on my rogue. Further, it seems to only have happened since I respecced to my hybrid build that makes use of barrage.
I’m going to try killing the boss with my basic skill and see if it works.

If you can do those tests thats great. After you get some clears without using Barrage, assuming you always get Podiums, you should also try doing a couple again with Barrage. That will pretty definitively prove it is specific to Barrage being used.

I just killed the dungeon boss with my basic attack and it gave me the xp.
I’m going to try again to see if it works. It seems to be a bug specific to barrage or other skills?
Fine I’ll cave to the people to lazy to google and spend 15 seconds finding a video that was literally in the first 5 results … Mainly because this bug needs more visibility and apparently people need proof like it’s a court of law.

Okay, so I just ran a dungeon that had the 3 skeletal constructs at the end. I only killed one with my basic skill, and that still worked.
Seems to be specific to certain skills.
I’m going to try and see if I can get a kill with my minions… I got this feeling since I only got it once… My minions just happened to get a killing blow.
Just hard for me to do so as bonespear rekts him.

Just craft a quick low tier sigil so your minions can wreck it. Will make it much easier to test

Thats because its a bug unique to Barrage Rogues. Theres tons of bug reports on it, and several reddit posts. Its kinda awful, I wanna play barrage but getting 1 podium out of 10 dungeons is awful.
did you just take barrage off your bar or did you respec out of it?
don’t know if this is useful at all. i am running t15 -t18 nightmares, and one thing i notice sometimes is that it takes 15-20 seconds sometimes for the bubble and podium to spawn. usually it is instant. and yea sorry for others if it does not spawn at all.
So far no luck but I’m also going to try just skele warrs/mages/golems solo as well. Sometimes I dropped tendis for golem so could of been it.
Also was standing near an edge so going to try that too. Was a tunnel dungeon when it first happened.
Golem seemed to be okay when I stood against a pillar. Only tried twice though for Golem.
Tried cold mages and it was fine, doing skrims/reapers next.
So far seems like it is fine with all minions, I even tried killing with Bone storm. The only spell I haven’t tried to kill with is Corpse Tendrils.
I didn’t want to sacrifice them to change my build at all but before the engagement I just swap them to kill them off.
My bug could have possibly been fixed as it was at least 3 days ago now. I remember being against a wall in a cave/tunnel dungeon (wish I could remember the name).
Will make sure to come back if it happens again. I swear it happened once, and I waited a while for it to spawn. I only had one other bug other then this inside of NM dungeons personally.
It’s not unique to rogues. There are comments from sorcs and necros as well. But it does seem to be more consistent on barrage rogues. There is a fairly lengthy thread (as well as MANY other short threads) in the report forums.
I do a respec right quick just before the boss room. I’m not locked into my Core skills so I can just click 14 times real quick to pull points out of barrage and put them into RF. The cost is pretty insignificant compared to the loss of glyph XP for not doing it. I mean 350k gold, per dungeon, SUCKS … but it isn’t unbearable. I’ll live with the cost until if/when it gets fixed I guess.
You could also just find a single piece of gear with +RF on it and switch it for the boss fight. Well I guess that depends on your build. It would work for me cause my core skill is almost exclusively used to proc grenades and trap CD reduction.
Now that I think about it I’m just going to waste points and keep 3 in RF>Improved RF. It wont really stunt the build to hard for me. That saves me the cash
UPDATE: I forgot to kill the last boss with something other than barrage, and sure enough, it didn’t give me the glyph xp reward.
It seems confirmed at this point, barrage has a high likelihood of bugging the dungeon if you kill the boss, and you’re left without the glyph exp gain.

I’ve had this happen on my ice shards sorc, up to level 100 I’d say maybe 1 out of 10 times (and I ran solo NMs exclusively from 70-100); now on a barrage rogue it’s closer to 3-5 out of 10 times, to the point where it’ll start to feel bad to actually play it since the glyphs won’t be keeping up with my levels lol… and respecing every time before a boss fight, yeah, no

Happens to me quite often (maybe 20-30% of times), also with barrage rogue, On the flurry rogue only happened once.
This is a fairly common bug. Sometimes the bubble appears when the reward popup is gone 4 seconds after, but sometimes it doesn’t.
Asking for proof of a bug nobody has any benefit on faking… OMG.
