Glyph leveling: is it really this painful?

Ignore Glyph levels, do NM dungeons for the XP/loot. You’ll get at least 6 to 21 before you get to 100.

At 70 you’re likely only doing low tier NM dungeons, which give lower XP. Once you can blast through 50’s-60’s, a 15 will take you around a dozen NM’s, or under 2 hours.

@ladish Totally agree. I want to level up some other classes but then I start thinking of all I have to do just to get an alt to where I am on my Necro at 70 and it doesn’t sound too appealing. I really wish the leveling was faster and more of an emphasis was placed on leveling alts to keep players engaged rather than a huge grind. The paragon board enables builds which is the fun part of the game. If they open that up it makes playing alts more fun/attractive.

@Dax I’m trying to stick with the NM dungeon formula of current level +3 but at 70 that puts me at max tier for WT3 so I’m doing like +4/5 because I’m in WT4. So not only is it harder due to higher WT but I’m killing mobs like 4-5 levels higher than me. It’s not that hard to do but it definitely makes it slower to clear. I’m guessing once I get more solidly into WT4 it will get much easier. I’m also only about half geared in ancestral gear at this point so I have some improvements to make there as well.

6 glyphs for hota barb ;D

Low level it’s slower gain. Higher level it’s much faster. On original XP gain I had 6-7 glyphs maxed at 21 by lvl 100. Early on it does seem low but by like t20, you’ll get a few levels worth of xp for a lvl 1 glyph.
