had anyone drop a glacial aspect lately? either that thing is super rare or i am just damn unlucky.
been farming for about a week now, nightmare dungeons, helltide mystery chests, thousends of obolusses… tons and tons of fire and lightning aspects and not a single glacial 
It’s just rare. I had one drop yesterday, but anecdotally, is among the rarest aspects I see. It rolled good too, but need to find a good necklace to slap it on.
It wasn’t that rare before, it used to drop like candy at launch.
I’ve gotten a few but they were all low rolls. It seems like all the aspects that have direct damage components to their rolls are both rarer than other aspects and much more likely to have cringe rolls. It also doesn’t help that the range is huge like 1,000-2,500 and affected by the power level of the item it was attached to, both of which are ridiculous.
I’ve found only 2 Glacials while leveling to 100.
Btw, guys, don’t forget to fully upgrade your legendary before extracting Glacial aspect.

Are you talking about the one that blizzard spec uses? I get those all the time but I don’t run blizzard. My friend does run blizzard and can’t get one at all. He is pissed about it because he cant upgrade the piece he wants to upgrade.
Me on the otherhand don’t get crap for my spec and if I do its all bottom rolls. I seriously think the game weights the drops to drop for what you aren’t playing. All the uniques I get are for fire or lightning. Same with the affixes. I can’t get ice shards stuff to save my life unless its a bottom roll.
I have been looking for this aspect for a while now also and have yet to come across it, literally have every other aspect or seen for a sorc except this, some of the things they do just makes no sense at all
No, it’s not a bug, the damn thing is just rare. Not only that you also need it to be on a high PL item, you also need it to have a good roll. So getting a good Glacial is insanely hard. I farmed for over 10 days and the best I got was 797 PL with 70% roll, which translates into 2700/3000 base damage on a staff, after upgrades. It was more than enough to melt Lilith with it, but yeah… it can go a lot higher. 300 higher base damage translates into 1m-1.5m higher crits in stagger, which is insane, if you think about it.
Key note ALWAYS UPGRADE THE ITEM before extracting the Aspect!!!

Leveling of the aspects when upg items
i did over 10k obols. Got 3 frostburns 2 penitents and still no aspect. Never saw one while leveling either. How can it be this rare feels like a bug at this point idd.
I have been trying to find this from 72 to 94. I finally just found my first one today, but it was on a sacred 674 item level. But I did want to share that I found it during the helltide on the west side. I dont know where in the helltide I got it. I also did kill the super difficult roaming bug boss, but I don’t think I got it from that but might have. Either way, never found it in a nm dungeon just in a helltides, which makes me think it might be locked to an area on the map both dungeons and events and since nightmare only has 30 of the dungeons, we can’t find it.
Ah you got uniques from gambling obols? I was wondering if it was possible or not.
Got them from the chest while farming the obols 
I got it from a lucky drop in a NM dungeon Tier 3x with my brother. Raiment dropped in that same dungeon for me. Talk about good luck. Since then I haven’t seen any drop or have been able to gamble any gloves with it in the last ~100 NM dungeons run since then. I think it’s just rare. Once you get it though… man the blizzard build is so OP and nice. Night and day compared to ice shards. Be sure to put it on your amulet for the bonus damage.
Same issue here. I’ve found one glacial in the past 4 days of actively looking for it. It rolled at the very bottom of the dmg scale. I have only found 3 the entire time I’ve been playing my sorc and I am now level 96. Blizzard has the nerve to state their aspect pool is not weighted… BS. I will see multiples of every other aspect but only 3 glacials in 96 levels? That’s a weighted RNG roll.
I feel that ever since blizzard build is published, the glacial aspect just became rare
