Alright, I’d say I’m a math guy… But if I wanted to give up 15x… How much of an additive stat would I need to cover that? Like… I might drop about 15x on blood rage node and gain like… Idk… 400 or so percent of an additive stat. Is that enough to overall be stronger?
So 15% x?
Your Additive Bucket total would have to show a 15% growth.
So (Difference)/old total = .15
In this case 400 like you suggested would need your old total to be around 2666
400/ .15 = 2666.66~
to be close. (you can solve this by using your current number as well, I solved it the other way because you did not say what your current Big Additive Bucket total was)
Now keep in mind that this multipler (Big Additive Bucket fluctuates based on conditions met) (removed that let’s not make it any more complicated than it needs to be)
Generally having the additional multipler is better. Especially when there are many more multipliers and the BA Bucket will be pretty big. But interesting to try.
No man I’m dropping from 30x while berserking… To 15x while berserking, and gaining 400 Overpower
Oh sorry I misunderstood what you were asking.
I’m trying to know how much of an additive stat it takes to cover 15x
1.3-1.15/1.15 =.13
So your 13% of your BA bucket would be what you add to make it even…roughly and ignoring all conditional statements.
That entirely depends on how much additive stats you have. If you have +100% additive damage, then that x15% is worth about +30% = (100%+100%)*15%. If you have +1900% additive, then x15% is worth +300% = (1900%+100%)*15% .
Remember to add only the effective ones you use, ie … don’t go adding cold% damage if you don’t have cold damage.
It would be the difference between 2400 Overpower and 2800 overpower.
-15x while berserking
It’s changing my paragon. I lose 15x berserking and I would go from 2400 overpower—>2800 overpower. Wondering if it’s a loss overall
So 30x berserking with 2400 overpower
Or 15x berserking with 2800 overpower
If you use just the OP additive it will look like the 2nd one is bigger, but it is not.
Because you are multiplying by the entire BA bucket value and the difference in before and after needs to be 13%, based on the change in the other multiplier, at any given time.
Keep the multipler at 30%(x).
15x ?
About 7 affixes of 215% (in other words, all gear to have an affix that gives 215% increase of that certain stat)
Seriously this game. When we were running around as kids no one was doing advanced math in their heads to optimize the most effective route in Red Rover. Just maybe a stronger sword, Blizzard and leave it at that.
