But nowhere it says what was the issue with the spiritborn/sorc and the decay power, and if it was fixed. Wasn’t that the whole point why they disabled it for the whole weekend… Or am I blind and not seeing it?

That’s not in this patch. It will likely be hotfixed friday, or more likely, released with patch 2.1.2 next weekish.

I kind of think they need to fix the game before they try to get cute with the patch notes. Things like the “Swolem” comment is what I am referring to. It’s great to show you have a sense of humor, but your players want you to take fixing the game seriously.

Well I downloaded the update and it’s official. The witch powers are still disabled which means I lose not only the Decay buff but without the Twilight shield I lose another 25% of damage as well as the shielding.

Another season shot to hell (and not the fun, demon slaying kind) by the incompetent clowns at Blizzard. Has there been ANY word on the dead bird platform about them fixing these powers? Lord knows they won’t bother talking to their users on their own forum.

Fixed an issue where the player could move while channeling Lacerate.

RIP the entire build. Got the legendary gem to make me unhindered yesterday and it finally felt like a build to compete with others in terms of speed and efficiency. This is really a build killer, imo.

Update 2/4: (since Patch 2.1.1)

We’ve enabled Twilight Warding as of today and you should now be able to see this available on your end. Decayed Augmentation is the next on the list and is currently slated to be enabled again in an upcoming Hotfix.

I really don’t think they are wasting a minute or two adding some personality to the patch notes instead of achieving anything significant on the development side. I appreciate that the notes are posted by an actual person.

I mean, there are way bigger things to complain about than someone spending a couple of minutes trying to make boring patch notes a bit less boring.

Well, if you look at it like this, Iggy has nothing to do with it (even if he is a secret Blizzard employee). It’s just that the patch notes are really nothing. If the patch notes don’t indicate changes, then it’s a bug. And if you take all the skills of the lightning tree (more precisely, shock, since there are no skills that use lightning, judging by the descriptions), then everything is completely bugged and the damage has spontaneously decreased, if you take only ball lightning, then from 48-52% to 33% at skill level 5. And this is already a bug that requires immediate correction.
