I don’t know if this is a bug somewhere or what but my husband and mine’s character keep getting caught and stuck on absolutely nothing, mainly in dungeons. We read somewhere that it was a Metamorphosis bug but we aren’t using that vamp power. It mainly happens right after we use our evade, then we’re just stuck in one spot until we throw an ability out.
Is this happening to anyone else and is there a way to fix this that we may not know about?
There is no complete “nothing” anywhere, even in the universe there is no complete “nothing”. There’s probably high-density air or some dense gas near you and you’re stuck on it. 
But neither, I have it just like you, blizz probably made the air in the game with great density…
I do Evade Metamorphosis a lot. There was one time, I evaded to the outside of the wall. Yeah, I got stucked as I cant go back or evade back to the Hallway. So I just teleported out of the dungeon then go back and run it again.
It only happened to me once becoz I said to myself that I wont Evade to the direction outside the wall. So it didnt happen to me again. At least not yet.
I get it too, but it’s usually the edge of the area, not nothing. As a rogue I am constantly evading and dashing, so it happens often. I evade to fix it.
i had that but it was caused by metamorphosis. when i tried a build without metamorphosis it was gone.
im not sure what yours is since you mention it happens without metamorphosis
Please be patient, this small team of indie devs are working around the clock to fix game breaking bugs like this one. In the meantime, enjoy, and remember, Bobby needs a new yacht ! You may want to visit the store while waiting for your character to be playable again !
I have this too occasionally and was wondering what the eff. sometimes after using meta your character wont do anything for a split second…maybe .5s or so. I notice it alot because I am a scrub that uses left click to move.
Sometimes when I evade, afterwards there is this short adjustment period before I can completely control my character again. Its hard to explain, but I can see my character changing position slightly. This can also occur in simple, regular movements or while riding my horse.
There is a slight pause in control of character. It feels as if, sometimes, the server is trying to decide where to place my character and needs a moment to think about where to put me. Something like a very minor lag or rubberbanding type effect, but it is very small. Sometimes it looks like I am stuck on a small rock or something on the ground, especially in dungeons.
This happens to varying amounts and degrees. Sometimes I see bigger adjustments to my character’s position, other times almost too small to notice unless I am really paying attention.
Movement to me, in D4, feels really janky. I don’t have lag, freezing, rubberbanding, or anything like that in any other game. I have a strong computer and network that can play anything smoothly, but NOT D4. It literally keeps me from logging in because it breaks immersion for me, as well as keeps me out of harder content because I don’t care for all the meta exploits.
This happens to me but I don’t use the vampire power. I’m playing a sorc, I have to use my teleport to be able to move again. It seems to happen to me mostly in the over world, but that is where I spend most of my time.
