GET RID of the PVP and stop listening to PVP tooters

“Diablo will support 2-player and multi-player game sessions via modem or network. A special ‘arena’ dungeon will be available for opponents to pit their characters against each other.”

I gotta call BS on that! My first Diablo 4 Character was a druid and thought it was going to be the best to Afro Thor build. Every fight until I reach about level 46 felt like I was bringing pillows to a gun fight and literally getting my face blown off like the cartoon character I have. He looks over eager old, fat/chubby, wearbear changing, grungy ghetto brotha druid ready to fight everyone of the skinny white kid monsters over the last doughnut in the lunch room and their mothers. Only to find out, he was secretly invited to a clan meeting. Unlike other characters the Druid needs to beat all those elite monsters in the Druid city before being able to use the Boones and help it become more powerful. That last daemon monster in the druid city is tougher than most of the other campaign monster/bosses. My druid died so many times that I was unable to pay the armor repair bills and gave me a headache just watching him get his head smashed in. Felt like he had an inner white kid in him that just wanted to play too!

You’re delusional. PvP is a key component to Diablo End game.

I’m talking like level 60 → 77 when Season 0 ended and you’re talking about the leveling process from what I could tell in WT2 before you get the gearing you need. For instance, Stormclaw Druid require Crone Staff and it likes Tempest Roar if you can get it (I couldn’t) but functions mostly fine without it because the helm can then increase basic attack speed.

  • Grizzly Bear (Werewolf Aspect) grants large crit damage modifier and run speed along with, pre-patch, long uptime of unstoppable

  • Intimidating Roar (Werewolf Aspect) and Blood Howl give life and modifiers of damage booost (attack speed) and damage reduction

  • Shred allows you to chase targets, jump in and out of targets, and provides speed boost on escape by using minions as jump points

Stormclaw as a pure melee build could push NMD 100s because of how much defense it could stack from modifiers, the high single target DPS, and the fact you’re constantly in Werewolf form. I’m not saying all my opponents were gran masters of PvP but I took out lvl 90s, teams of 80s, etc. and mainly because you could disengage and then re-engage and your damage is still ramp’d at 100% while the opponent likely blew CDs to boost damage.

I have every PvP achievement unlocked and didn’t pick on low levels to do it. You can take my words as you will but comparing your experience at 40s to mine at 70s (and what NMD tier listings were) are just not comparable experiences for a VERY gear dependent class

Wouldn’t it be awesome if we could expand the PVP area to every nook and cranny of the game map just like D2? PVP lovers can roam around and hunt each other down . And as for the PVE players and newbies, well, they can always hide in the safety zones and watch us have all the fun. who wouldn’t want to experience the thrill of the hunt? Maybe I should create a ranger alt and join in on the action!

I’ll just leave this here:

you can just block every hota/rogue player you see so you don’t get them in pvp zone , that’s what i do when i see those cringe rogue abusers in pvp.

There’s literally 0 pvp lobbies in the game and that video just makes PvP look stupid and boring. Your point?

Walk out of town and get oneshot killed by Pally with Fist of the Heavans. Most fun ever.

Even before release they already said pvp will not be balanced. So what are you talking about?
I also do not like the shared pvp/pve zone, but i just treated it as if it would not exist.

If they add a way to deactivate pvp, then the people who wanna do it would not find anyone to do it with/against.
And if they separate pvp from pve completely, there are just so few people who do pvp that it´s not worth the effort.

Some of the pillow chewers have missed the point. So Let me try to be informative. The nerfs in the classes to date, in my opinion, are based on nerfs that players complain about in pvp when they encounter pvp, i, however have not made this post to complain about said pvp, only that the DEVELOPERS are making nerfs based on said PVP and it’s effecting the PvE .

Hence get rid of the PvP and make it a different set of armor and skills.

I never said get rid of the zone, only make it so that the zone requires a totally set of gear to play in it, not the PvE drops.

If you think otherwise, and misread what i originally posted, go back to school and fire your teachers, your reading comprehension is being brought to question.

Then don’t go in the PvP zones, avoid it, like I do. Look, I don’t think it belongs either, but some people “enjoy” it. So let them have their fun… The only change I would be for is PvP flagged players can only attack other PvP flagged players, currently, only the aggressor needs to be flagged… which is silly.

How pathetic to complain about two small sections of the entire world map, 1 entrance clearly outlined. This is too hard for you bro.

There are like two zones, just go in and get your statues and leave. You never need to go back. All you are missing out on is another way to farm random garbage and I think cosmetics you can only get from PVP, but who cares?

The game does do a poor job of explaining PVP. It makes it sound like you are immune unless you flag yourself, but trying to turn in those chunky drops flags you without telling you and some butthead will just wallop you given a chance…which is his right, as I was fooling around in a PVP zone. “You” is “I.” :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh well.

Did you just get rekt in the pvp area?

I don’t pvp. I don’t see the point. Maybe I should? I don’t even know what the rewards are.

Nonetheless, it’s completely optional and has had no ill-effect on what I enjoy doing in the game. It probably amounts to like 2-3% of the overall content. I don’t see the issue in having it. It’s so marginal I am surprised we don’t see more complaints about lack of pvp content. They probably put a single intern on it at 25% of their overall capacity.

No, i disagree. Im not a D3 whiner so Im not going to demand they squash players that do stuff I dont do. Just look the other way and let them have their fun
