Get *ALL* paragon points by level 75 so build is FULLY online, 925 items at 85, and keep 100 near unreachable

My game starts at level 1 but okay. Keep posting this so they can finally add paid level boosts like in World of Warcraft. You’re probably one of D3 forum posters that wanted leveling removed from the game and everyone start at max lvl. Do you even enjoy rpg games or just setting up bots?

Game starts at lvl 1, and mostly ends at lvl 100 imo.

Ah yeah, that would not be the same.
The late lvling progression should definitely give some power imo, just a very small amount that would not change whether you can do any of the endgame.

I dont see how anyone would be left out. Unless you are one of those who feel left out if you dont have full 3GA.

I mean, raids are happening. They were announced for the expansion.

Technically no, co-op dungeons were announced.
It remains to be seen what it is.
But since this is Blizzard, I understand why people (me included) are expecting the worst.

Oh really? tell us why regular casual Joe

That player base is just a handful and eats soy, listens to Village People, loves tattoos and works at a salon. We don’t do that here okay (, this is Diablo :smiling_imp:

This problem has existed since S1

Game needs something new/different past lvl75

In other words = disagree with both sides

  • Leveling has to matter,
  • Last 25 levels should feel different

And last but not the least

  • The “importance” of that stupid endgame loop (at lvl100) needs to be reduced

That being said => the correct decision would be to evolve monsters or add some new ones and introduce new item/gear affixes that start at lvl75 that wasn’t accessible before

Kinda agree but missing the mark. The key and important point is that post lvl75 new monsters (or new augmentations of monsters) should appear and new affixes on gear

In other words - the game should evolve

Why does leveling have to matter? Honestly, if I could decide, I’d just make leveling optional, and beneficial, where we can copy a character to seasonal servers, but there is a 7 day period to level on seasonal before season starts to get ahead. That’s what I’d do. I could open a separate thread for this suggestion tbh. I just don’t see, why leveling the 3rd, 4th, or 5th time is any fun. Especially after you got every class to 100. What is the point of leveling again? It’s just lame, boring, bad content for me as a game to level 1-75.

Or you could not worry about what gear other people have and just play the game.

Because leveling is playing a game. Playing the endgame is just running a treadmill with just higher angles

IF you like that, sure… Go ahead, play for 2 months and 20 days

But for those that prefer leveling and actually like to experience some strategic semblance of their choices along the way. And b.t.w. feel some impact of those decisions then let us have our 10 days of actual gameplay and character growth

Ok, fine, good luck having a playerbase growth when preferring account-bound bonuses and even trial runs for extra pre-bonus

I mean, must say I’m disappointed from you people…

Obsessed with competition and power at all cost. On top of that preventing an actual game creation for what ?, 4 days of race every 3 months, that’s all

This is why leveling should be meaningful and slower, so you don’t get “multiple characters” to 100

And I agree, early game needs improvements (more decisionmaking and strategic purpose), basically have more earlier options so it doesn’t feel “stale” like it does

The issue isn’t of leveling another character to 100 again after done with one, the issue is that doing it the second time will feel 99% same like the previous

I don’t give a damn about “competition”. I’m just not having fun at all leveling to 100 the third time. Why is that hard to understand? First time was fine, second time was just…ok, third time it’s just annoying and mindless 0-value activity in Diablo 4. It’s not like I hate leveling in every game, but specifically in Diablo 4 the leveling process has no fun replayability, and it’s just a means to an end to reach lategame.

This right here is the issue, and instead of ignoring or skipping it, damn it FIX IT once and for all

And stop shaming people that ask properly that the devs do so

Just make ALL content shared between season and eternal realms at all time.
So everyone can play the mode the prefer.
Maybe we can finally get some good lvling again then.

Why does gear have to matter. Why does anything have to matter.
Should we also skip the gear progress (I know, Blizzard power creep will remove that too over time).

Yeah.

Look, I enjoy leveling, if it’s good. I leveled in games, where it takes ages to reach max level, and I didn’t mind it, because it was fun. However, the threshold and requirement for me, where leveling has replayability without getting boring is very high. If a game wants me to relevel every season, i.e. every couple of months, the leveling cannot just be an obstacle to reach end game. That’s ridiculous. So either they should make leveling just basically skippable/extremely fast, or they should make it part of the game, and not just a chore before the seasonal game starts.

Opinion: If leveling was amazing with replayability value, they could make leveling slow for all I care. However, this is something I expect in diablo 5 or future expansions, not something short term.

its a couch co-op game… thats what they claim anyway…

you want to invest 90845769874589679485 hours into a game… go play mobile games with their infinite numbers go up crap.

real games have a start and an end… anything that grinds forever is just a mobile game in disguise and meant for stupid people to chase ever growing numbers… a carrot on a stick

Perfer just adding 10 more levels that are exponential increases of exp.

Each level giving you more cosmetics or elaborated cosmetics or very very small all stat increase of may be 10 per level or both.

1 paragon point per level also okay.

You could also force complete map sets all dungeons cleared as part of levellingrequirement or all quest lines, uber lilith etc to progress.

Theres a lot of ways to skin this cat.

Qol unlocks like summoning blacksmith or merchant etc.

Agreed. Endless paragon in D3 was terrible.
But somewhat longer lvling experience does not make it endless. Especially not when the item progression is already way longer than the lvling progression. It would not exactly prolong the game at all. Just bring a bit more balance to the two main progression systems.

Makes total sense to me. But people just don’t get it. Look at the comments. They still say “but I don’t want it to take so long to get to 100, the game starts at 100”. You have 100 being near UNREACHABLE in your title and they still say that. D4’s target audience is clearly mostly mouth breathers. Not your fault. Nothing we can do about it.

They could keep everything exactly like it is and allow cosmetic leveling past 100.

Personally I would give every transmog a required cosmetic level too, so getting to level 500 would have a no power reward.

Absolutely no. The game is too fast as it is and we are already overpowered for the content as well. In addition the end game sucks, and the only decent part is the leveling experience.
