If you don’t like a game, do you go to their forums and make angry threads about it on a daily basis?
I have sure never done this before. I was just wondering how common this is?
It seems like an odd use of time to me.

Everyone wants to like it. Diablo 2 hasn’t had a successor/replacement game for something like 20 years now

Even so. I never go to any game forum for a game I don’t like and don’t play. It just seems strange.
I played OW for years and hated it and loved it at the same time and I’ve only ever made 1 post there.
have you never met someone that hates his wife but stays there anyways?
you stay there and whine until a better opportunity comes by. in this case you got about 1 more year worth of it to go

Becuase observing people that like the game, is like going to the zoo and watching strange oblivious creatures you have never seen before.
Now, imagine these creatures also make poor arguments and reply constantly.
Tie that in a box, and you have perfect digital media. These forums ARE d4.
No, It’s a waste of time and Energy.
Only reason i am even on this one, Is because i loved the protentional of this game
and thought it was going to go in the direction i hoped, and thought was the shared vision.
Atm i do not know what that is, Have been not happy with any balance updates and the game feels no better of for trying to quickly hold players and answer crying trolls, T3 feels almost meme level fast and just doesn’t suite the game.
So it is a little different since right now , I am lets say halfway to 3 islands.

I put the game down and come back later, and see how its doing every now and then.
I’m laying in bed and have nothing better to do than use the 70$ dollars I paid for a garbage game than to rant on the forums. Don’t tell me what I can and can’t do. Now F Off 
Its the same reason why you make the posts you do.
Your posts don’t actually promote deep discussion about the game’s mechanics, builds, future.
Rather, they are to push your agenda. You like the game, and you want to declare it loudly to other people.
On the flip side. We loudly declare the things Blizzard did wrong by us, and the implications of their actions.

Why do you care and keep coming back though if you don’t like the game at all?
The combined voice is the only thing that works in getting the point across 17 levels of Blizzard corporate hell.

Why do you white knight so hard for a game that is obviously greedy? Why are you trying to retain players? Why do you want people to like the game? It is literally none of your business and it is borderline psychotic to defend a multi billion dollar company that doesn’t care about you.
It shouldn’t affect you at all, and the fact that it does is concerning.

Some threads are definitely tantrums. Personally I come here to read and post because I love game design, like, the adademic science of it. I like discussing the problems, solutions, and getting the backstory on how and why things were handled. But I’m going to assume im in the microscopic minority lol
That’s just what you want to believe so you can feel like your complaint threads matter here.
If you like other games so much why wouldn’t you go play them or go to their forums?

i already explained it. Diablo 2 doesn’t have a successor. we keep getting these games blizzard calls “diablo” but they are not the same kind of game. Most of the problem is that the newer “diablo” games are just cookie cutter in design and function and don’t properly represent the diablo series of games that they are intended to represent.
Nothing gets through to you. Keep licking those boots.
Just remember you aren’t getting paid and blizzard won’t pat you on the back for defending them.
