IMO the only thing holding the combat back from being S tier, blizz has always excelled at gameplay.
Ever since the implementation in D3, it has just felt out of place, we still have potions but not mana potions. If we are going to be forced to use them they should be improved, significantly.
-Gen skills should restore % of resource, ditch the % resource gen stat entirely.
-Should never be more than a 2-1 ratio, 2 gen casts, 1 core, with the ability to be improved upon through gearing/para etc
-They should actually do damage, late game especially. If you run dry on resource rn it’s too many casts at not enough dmg while the enemy is still blasting you full force. You have to rely on rng alot of the time in this scenario (for my class ne way) and it hinders the smoothness of combat.
The problem really isn’t the generator the problem is the amount of skills you have available to you because you are forced to pick mandatory skills ( unstoppable )
So players are removing the generator ( basic skill ) just to get an extra skill.
If Blizzard wants to force generators the best option is just give the players an extra skill slot. Or move all unstoppable skills as skills that replace dodge.

Feel like we should just have a 15 second cooldown “trinket” to break CC that is separate from skills. Call it “Break Free” or whatever, but yeah being forced into accessing unstoppable is annoying.
There is a CC break potion, Look up curative elixir. Is is obtained from a side quest.
I don’t understand what kind of builds you guys are running that’s so resource heavy, but i personally rarely ever run out of energy unless i’m plinking at an NM boss that’s much higher than my level
And that’s with not using a single resource related affixe except for one umbral, which doesn’t help on Bosses anyway
So maybe instead of parroting this trendy complaint because you copy pasted XYZ streamer build, you guys should consider tweaking your builds, or invest into a couple affixes that’ll help with energy management
