I think we may have missed the mark on the gems and crafting system. What my friends and I wanted to see was the return of the Horadric cube and self crafting with recipes in there, + the addition of new secret recipes to figure out (think blue pot + red pot = purple pot in cube, cow level, etc)
The cube was unique to diablo and used literally every day playing d2. Stuff like this is what makes a franchise unique and mysterious. Why did we get a lame jeweler?
The possibilities with the cube are endless… we’ve missed the mark here
