After the latest game update (tonight one), the game crashes instantly as soon as I begin to record the video with Geforce Experience.
This 100% began to happen after this update, because I recorded dozens of other video pieces with in previous game versions just yesterday. Geforce Experience and NVIDIA drivers are also on the same version they were yesterday for me - only the game was updated.
I would love to keep recording the videos for the future Diablo IV vids
Thanks!
P.S. GPU is MSI 3080 Ti.
Update: switching the NVIDIA drivers from “studio” to “game ready” one solved the issue, recording is now working again.
Maybe it’ll be useful to someone else.
Hey there. Unfortunately, it seems, this was not a solution. It happens again and again. Reinstalling drivers and rebooting PC helps until I’m still in the same game session. If I’m existing the game and then launching it again, in this sessions, using video recording almost always causing crashes. It’s super annoying.
I understand that I can’t say exactly whether it’s 100% game issue or 100% NVIDIA drivers issue, but better to report than no. Hopefully this can be resolved.
Happening to me on my old laptop with a Geforce 970m. It crashes or doesn’t load if I have Nvidia recording, or if I turn it on. If I launch the game and then start recording, instantly quits and crashes the game with a long serial key to report.
