Gear Stats: "Lucky Hit - Chance to restore resource" / "Resource Generation"

If I have +Resource Generation on gear, and the lucky hit procs to give me resource restore, this is an instance of generating resource. As a druid I have many ways of buffing my healing received. Following the logic/thought process of how things are worded, in regard to increasing the amount of HP restored, Id like to know if the “+% Resource Generation” affix buffs the instance of resource restored through “Lucky Hit”. Thank you.

+resource generation is just a passive effect, works all the time, lucky hits just do what they say on the tooltip, as example +10% lucky hit chance to restore 30 rage gives you a 13% chance on any hit to gain a flat 30 rage, or at least thats my understanding of how it works… Sorry should clarify you have a flat 3% lucky hit chance to begin hence the 13%.

Really miss the days games had big chunky manuals.

If you look for resource generation in the detailed stats screen, it says “from all sources,” so, yes, it’ll include the lucky hit effect.

you tried to help me ill do the same. My pulverize has a innate 25% lucky hit chance, 1 of 4 hits basically, will be LH. When I score a lucky hit, lets say i have a total of 5 different lucky hit affects from gear. 5% to do 5 different things. When I attack, I have a 1 in 4 chance. When that chance “procs” or triggers, it will roll another “die” to see if I roll that 5% chance. If I do win a 1 in 20 roll (1/20 = 5%) then i get w/e on proc lucky hit effect is drawn from my gear.
