After reaching paragon 250 and getting all gear as needed on 1 star there is an issue of gear progres. It is literally impossible to get items on 4 stars from drop, as they never ever drops from any activity in the game. Same with max aspects which even from under city 50mln gold option drops same none usable aspects with low lvl stats. For those players who already reached the max gear of 1 star system should be dropping instantly higher items instead of 750/800 or 1 star trash. Please fix this as after 2 weeks of finishing literally everything hundreds of times I’m unwilling to play cause of drop system that is very very bad. There are hundreds of players that supports my idea and has same issue. You want us to enjoy further progression or stop playing?
Do I think the greater affix chance could go up a little? Sure. Do I also think it’s fine that you can’t get decked out in 4GA items in two weeks? Absolutely. There’s no reason to play if you’re running around in perfect gear after two weeks. The loot hunt is all these games have once you get your build online.
Sounds like unfortunate RNG. I’m currently paragon 180 and have 3-4 items with 2 greater affixes. Also seen at least one 3 greater affix item drop but wasn’t useful to me so salvaged.
Just FYI, asking or waiting for “a fix” is not going to help. I can’t speak for “hundreds of players,” but in my opinion greater affixes are not necessary beyond the fact that they make an item ancestral and therefore make all of the stats have a higher range. I would suggest either setting another personal goal besides finding all 3GA gear, try another class/build, or as you suggest stop playing for a while, maybe until next season.
The issue is 2 GA + are rare than before and so when they drop you have to hope they are useful. I’ve had Alot of em drop with completely worthless stats lol. That being said you don’t need anything but 1 GA to clear 150 on a SB. Even last season the biggest power boost was just 1 GA on cdr for shako on a LS sorc and rest didnt matter that much just had to mix and match the GAs for breakpoints
yeah last season all my friends kept playing until blizzard announced that the dlc will nuke eternal characters, so there was no point in further maxing our seasonal characters. This season they have already stopped and haven’t even made it into torment 4 yet.
I don’t get this idea that giving players the ability to play their build makes them stop playing, instead of the reality where preventing a player of playing their build makes them stop playing.
The last step of completing a character isn’t the gear hunt, it’s Masterworking
I’d say that is even part of the issue, it’s not like you have a nice “hey I could use that for my build” run, it’s more like have a greater number for X than mine ?
And I can very easily see how that is both boring and exhausting at the same time (and b.t.w. that does not even count the phase of MW-ing)

Complete train wreck of a season. Dupes, Spiritborn balance, Interdiction 15% sells for 50B gold, ancestrals are impossiblu, druids MIA, most game dint work for 2 weeks like opals, kurast in party sucks, citadel awful, economy ruined, trade never taken down so friends got ripped off for billions and left, and the list goes on and on.
I spend entire 2 weeks doing anything else in life just playing game. That’s hundreds of hours. Revise your reply as that is totally different situation

Lol this is really something hard to listen. I spend a hundred Euro on a game and season only last 3 months or so, and you all saying that I shouldnt expect better gear and just stop playing. Bunch of trolls I would say. The game is about gear and improvements and I just said for those who already has 1 star gear the system should automatically convert to drop us 2 star gear and that is that. Society this days are so egocentric it’s hard to have any discussion
Bro you can say or even prove you spent 400h per seasson and at this forum there will always at least that one guy who will tell you you just want everything handhold for no effort

Not only multiple ga. Even useful single ga items are extremely hard to find these days.
I play quite a lot. I also trade, but only with clanmates and friends. Basically we help out each other, if we found something someone else might need. An no, I won’t take part in “trade” on a larger scale aka dupes, RMT and scams…
I’m at 270+ paragon now. I’ve been trying for over a week now to find a new ring: Maximum life and attack speed or resource cost reduction + something else I could reroll. Ga on any of the stats I mentioned would already make me happy. I’m not demanding “BIS gear and perfect multiple ga items in no time” - just a little upgrade… And I haven’t seen a single one so far.
Then maybe don’t play seasonal and play eternal. Seasonal is not for everyone, and anyone really trying to get absolute perfect gear is probably better off sticking to eternal realm and spending YEARS looking for it (or buying it off one of the third party trading sites available). Be prepared though to have all of your progress wiped when Blizz resets the entire gearing system for the fourth time this year and makes all existing equipment obsolete.
But, without being too egocentric, no, the game should not automatically start dropping gear better than what you are using. The game should continue dropping absolutely beastly items and garbage without any regard to what is currently equipped as it does now.
By the way, I am soon going to be following the exact suggestions I posted earlier and start a new class or quit this season, as my druid has just about topped out with 1-star and 2-star gear and I don’t expect to find anything better.
They trash eternal gear almost every season. This won’t work. The gear gets nerfed and marked legacy.
I feel they hot fixed the Ancestral drops, because at the start of the season, I saw a lot of ancestral from hordes and the Purveyor of Curiosities, but now I see a lot less. I got a 3 GA thorns chest the first week from several ancestral chest when gambling, but since then, I hardly see a 1 star chest from the Purveyor.
