I had never tried Gauntlet because I left early into season 3, came back to finish my battle pass that I paid for before season is over and hopped into Gauntlet because I had a quest there. I finished with a gold rating, but then when I checked again, it acted like I hadn’t done it. What’s the deal with that?

your party size changed and when you checked it shows the party version first

as dragonfire said, it was the weekly reset most likely.
The timing would have been within the seconds I took to load out of gauntlet then. I completed it and checked and it showed I didn’t get anything. My profile still shows the gold rating, but clicking on the stone says I never tried it.
It changes every week. There’s a bug currently where your cosmetic profile seal gets removed, so I have to keep re applying it every few hours.
