Just came back to try my first Gauntlet today as I wasn’t able to when it first came out and somehow found a bug immediately…
Just FYI, I knew nothing about the Gauntlet or how it’s done or entered as I hadn’t read any patch notes on it and only knew that it had been out for awhile and wanted to check it out.
- Bug: If you don’t complete the Horn of Trials Quest first before entering the Gauntlet and go through a run, the results will pop up but it won’t get saved or even show up on the Collections Tab or in the Trials Section when you click it.
- How I found the Bug: I had entered the Gauntlet through the Collections Tab as I remembered seeing there was a Gauntlet section there except before it was released it said ‘Coming Soon’ or something along those lines. I didn’t know that you could actually start the Gauntlet by going through the Collections Tab Gauntlet (Trials) Section and pressing the ‘Start’ button though since I assumed when press the button I would be sent to the Entrance or Outside the Gauntlet Dungeon and not actually inside it. I went through the Trials and at the end my results popped up and went to check the leaderboards to see where I was placed and realized my score might be too low for top 1000 as I didn’t know how the Gauntlet worked yet and I also couldn’t where my score was anywhere (like in a corner what you got this run). I exited the leaderboard expecting to go back to the previous page but it just showed the game with my character just standing there, so I went back into the Collections Tab and saw that my score and progress wasn’t saved even when I clicked the ‘Trials Section’ it also showed nothing like haven’t done a single Gauntlet Trial yet.
