Gameplay at 100 is horrible

You have 100% life or you are dead.

It doesn’t matter if you spec for defensives, stack hp gems and even use a hp pot on top of it.

I have legendary that lets me stack a bubble up to 58% HP on top of my 40k fortify and 40k life and its all nothing.

It feels like the gear isn’t even real.

It does matter. The more damage reduction you have the easier it is to survive. My barb has 75k HP max armor and 81% resistance. I have a shako with 20% DR a triple damage reduction on terials which is another 44% DR and probably another 50%+ from skills and paragon. My barb may not do the damage it once did but I’m hard as hell to kill.

My Rogue runs with 16k life and nothing can kill me. My sorc is similar. My Barb does have like 50k I think, can’t remember because he’s dead to me.

blizzard said they dont want 1 shot mechanics its not fun and ruins the game what hapend to them mind change?

So where do they draw the line? Should every mob only hit for a few thousand to make sure everyone can survive? Or should it be you need to invest some effort into a build that can survive the hits?

From what I can see there are very few true one shot mechanics left in the game that aren’t bugs. Even with Lilith and tormented bosses you only get one shot if you let the debuff s stack up. And then it’s not really a one shot as it took 4-6 shots to get you there.

you give players block parry hit % more mitigation for survival and list goes on , and why no psyhical resist stat in d4? dodge sux too rogue with 1500 dex only got 14% dodge funny

What? I run tormented bosses all day. On some days. Speed run pit 111 with Rogue, 107 with sorc. Your build could use some work if this seems unrealistic to you.

Damage reduction, barriers, max resistances, life steal, fortify. So many options. If you want your hp to be your primary survival then sure, you’ll need 100k.

Come run with me. Check my Rogue for yourself and then I’ll take you bossing. See if they can even scratch my 16k life?

Yay have to rely on mythics, which I am yet to see one in all 5 season so far. By the time I get geared well enough to do tormented bosses the season will be over. I really wish they had a more frequent drop in other activities beside torment bosses.

In D3 you could always find the item you needed to push your build. Then it was just farming to find a version with better stats. Here it sucks. Especially with items like Crown of Lucion, which increase cost of skills necessitating needing a Ring of Starless Skies just to get the build back to something playable.

I hate when people create a problem just to force me into a solution. Drop rates to need to be higher.

You don’t need Mythicals to farm tormented bosses. How do you think people do it? Do you think we all find them before we start farming tormented bosses? You can put together a build that absolutely destroys tormented bosses without using a single mythical

Wrong you can survive with 16k with enough damage resistance and overcapped resists.

I prefer having about 20k as a buffer.

Well I’m using guides and I go in and their health never goes down. Personally I feel they have to much health and damage.

Guides are good. Maybe you just need better gear. Are your aspects max? Your glyphs maxed out? You got your right affixes with good rolls? Started masterworking? If you follow the guides properly, if it’s a decent guide, you’ll get there eventually. But not all builds are great for bossing.

Armor gives you 85% physical resistance and damage reduction reduces that further. So it does have it it’s just a different name.

Nothing changed. Cant hold hands to noobs sitting on avoidable damages, does not understand damage reductuon, effective HP relations. Thing is non of properly built / played characters have toughness issues at all. Incoming damage is way too low and getting lower each patch.

The fact that you’re using the bubble aspect tells me that you’re not very deep into endgame at all, because nobody uses that with a high-end build. The good thing is this means you have far to go and will one day soon reach the point where you don’t worry about dying from lvl100 enemies. Consider looking at a few build guides on Maxroll, Mobalytics, IcyVeins or elsewhere, if not to use one in its entirety, at least to draw inspiration from them and see what a late-game build looks like. It can be very enlightening and there is much greater damage reduction to be had. :v:

My necro with like no dex had 70% dodge. Thats on you

The mobs are like 150+ but they also do no damage.

This pit is me falling asleep for 10 minutes farming mobs and then being frustrated when the boss 1 shots me over and over and then I exit the game.

This is not fun.

That’s a fair critique of the Pit, which has now been relegated to garbage status this season in comparison with Infernal Hordes, but with the added detail this sounds like a rather different complaint from your OP.

I am talking from OP build perspective, but even A tier build can be geared easily in a week.

If you play since release and you still not able to farm ubers, it is your fault.
