Since the goblin patch 2.1.3 my characters are sliding around so much and the game is lagging so badly that it is unplayable. It was fine the night before the patch. Is anyone else having this issue? I’be gotten used to the “normal” lags and freezes that seem to plague a lot of console players but this is much, much worse.

Yup, just made a post about this too. I didn’t see this one, but yup, tons of lag, stuttering, you name it, just bad performance.

Yup. It works fine in dungeons but nowhere else is playable, so I can’t do helltides, headhunts, do the goblin event, or even reliably travel to boss summoning areas.

Thanks y’all. I got so aggravated I played Diablo 3 for awhile. Still love it but omg I think I’ve done everything on that game that can possibly be done.
Anyway… I hope they fix it soon.
At least I know it’s not my PlayStation crapping out on me.

Yep, same here. I’m still on a PS4, so expect that’s part of the issue. They likely don’t do as much testing on this platform as they do the top of the lines…but I’m sure there are still quite a few using them.

Same issue here. I’m on PS4 and had no problems before the last update installed, but since then, the lag and freezing is so bad the game is virtually unplayable. I hope for a hotfix soon before goblin event runs out.

Honestly I’d just like to hear them acknowledge the issue and say they’re working on a fix at this point. They’re completely radio silent.

Its so bad i think the lag is part of the event lol Gotta survive the lag, its pretty challenging for sure! Really though if this is the result of events Id rather not have events at all. Its obvious bnet no longer beta tests anything anymore and now that is our job. Sad…

Semi Temp fix. goto Options on Main screen (char Select) and goto Connections.
Turn off Cross Play.
its not 100% but now Playable.

Love it too… expect it forgets the Skills on my Druid. don’t know why. it was fine on my Friends PS5.

i got the issue of just the UI showing after teleporting back to town.

Happy not happy so see it was not just me I went full nuke option. Scan game… crashed, Full uninstall-reset pc- install crashed, edited firewall and all protection to run 100% clean… Crashed. WTF?

Tried the cross platform fix. Didn’t work. Game is unplayable. Being forced to pay to multi-player to finish the season journey is b.s. as well. Been playing Diablo since the first game and was dying for 4 to come out like so many other people. Between constant glitching and being forced to pay to finish the season, I’m about completely over it…

Same here, lagging and ice skating all over the place on PS4 since the goblin event started.
I’ve now heard from some players on Xbox and PC that have also reported big lag spikes and rubberbanding, not as unplayable as PS4 but still. And the devs went live… and didn’t acknowledge it. Absolute clownery lol
