Game Sharing Between PS5 Users

I have a question regarding sharing a game among users on a console. I’m planning on buying Diablo IV for both my PC and PlayStation 5. My wife played the Diablo IV beta and loved it, even though she’s never played any of the previous games in the series.

This led me to wonder: if I buy Diablo IV on my console using my main PlayStation Network account, will any of the other users on the PlayStation be able to play it? I’d like my wife to be able to play on the console while I play on the PC, but I also want to be able to play on my PlayStation 5 at some point.

Thank you for your help!

Buy the disc edition of PS 5 D4 and create a battlenet account for her, link it to her ps account. It should work. As it here in Sweden, disc edition of D5 is cheaper than digital edition.

If you have digital edition PS5 it should work as well. I have a ps account with active ps plus and a few digital games downloaded. All these games works on the 2nd account logged in without paying anything.
An during beta test I have created a new battlenet account, linked to the 2nd ps account without problem, two acc two different character list.

Thank you very much for that information, that’s exactly what I was planning to do. My wife has been able to play other games on my PlayStation Plus account, for example, but with the Diablo IV beta, I created and linked her Battle.net account to the beta, and that’s where I started having these doubts.

Unfortunately, in my country, it will be a long time before Diablo IV arrives physically, so I’ll try the digital version. Thank you so much for your attention, Liang, and good luck in your infernal journey
