Game Pass PC not installing BLZBNTAGT000002BF

It works! thanks for your advice bro

I uninstalled Battle.net and reinstalled it using the xbox app and it worked for me.

I fixed here:
The problem for me was intalling Battle.net in other partition (Windows and Xbox in C: and Battle.net in D:). I was getting that error all the time, even installing Battle.net through Xbox app.
When I installed Battle.net in C: the problem was solved for me.

LOLLLL, it worked. lmfao. I just uninstalled battle.net and then reinstall it through the xbox game pass when it required me too. Make sure your installation is in the same drive as the gamepass. I don’t know if this was the reason of the disruption but that’s what I did and now its downloading. What a hassle.

Thank you. This worked.

Great work around! Worked for me. I had tried the fixes posted by Blizzard, uninstalling Battle.net and installing the game from Xbox, however everytime I did that it insisted on isntalling Battle.Net again, putting me back at square one.

close gamepass, open just bnet. problem solved.

i dont even use gamepass launcher anymore. linked my bnet and xbox account, now i just launch from bnet. works fine

This worked for me! Thank you so much!

I believe the issue is related to the Game Pass app not having sufficient permissions to manage the Bnet agent’s writing rights. To address this, try launching the Game Pass app as an administrator and then request the installation of Diablo VI. Alternatively, I resolved the problem by closing both apps and starting Bnet as an administrator. That did the trick!. Still, i think both Microsoft and Bnet should fix the problem, is clearly a bug.

worked for me thank you

Sweet! Thanks for the work around

I was having this issue as well, tried closing out of Game Pass app, Battle.net launcher, no luck. I just closed both, went into Task Manager and fully shut down any instance of Battle.net that was running behind the scenes. Ran it again as admin, was forced to log-in, now it is installing fine.

Worked for me too, this should be on the very top

did you find solve ?

FIXED:

This is what did it for me. Make sure to end task on every instance in task manager of battle.net. Once absolutely everything was closed I reopened battle.net as administrator and logged in, then launched Diablo 4 through the Xbox app. It did a sort of double login (automatically) of battle.net at which point I was able to install Diablo 4 through battle.net without any error codes.

I have not launched the game yet though… its still downloading which it wouldn’t do previously

UPDATE:
still working for me

close xbox app
clear all instance of battle.net in task manager
open battle.net as admin
open xbox app next and it will do a battle.net double login
launch Diablo 4 from battle.net

thank you, it work. (07/04/2024)

I’m going to post what worked for me, since none of the previous posts fixed my issue. Turns out it does not like installing to a different drive than what the battlenet app is installed in. The quick fix for me was to move the battle.net folder (in my C:/ProgramFiles folder) to the folder that my Xbox app installs to (G: for me). I’m not sure if it is something with the permissions of the xbox app, or with the battlenet app, but it seems like they both need to be on the same drive (or their permissions for installing)

I just ended up having to close game pass and battle.net, go into processes and end xbox and battle.net related services, and have the pre-created D4 folder deleted as well and then it worked. Not sure if that’ll work for anyone else, but give it a whirl.
