Lack of content bores me.
Now level 71 on my main, I can enjoy doing the same five things over and over again so many times .
I had a goal to reach level 100, but I see no real reason to do so. Most likely, it’s similar to Diablo 3 where you play for a season and then move on. Season after season, who cares about your eternal character?
Tree of Whisper consists of 5 quests plus a dungeon in a zone. You repeat that for the rest of your time.
The level 90 world boss dies in under 1 minute.
When attempting dungeon runs, it’s mostly a solo experience unless you happen to have a friend online.
It’s extremely difficult to find a party or group since there’s no way to search for one. I’ve tried whispering nearby players, but most of them never respond back.
Where are my 150+ dungeons? Most of them have the same enemies and effects I’m weakest against, just like in Diablo 3. “Your character doesn’t like wallers, here every elite pack is a waller.” It doesn’t make it harder, just annoying!
All these new stat terms and what they do, alongside the Paragon system, are unnecessarily exaggerated.
We have a limited number of spells available to us, yet the balance seems to be hard for Blizzard to fix.
Leveling alts becomes a repetitive task as you’re stuck doing the same blue quests and the same five quests from the Tree of Whisper over and over again. It becomes tiresome very quickly.
Maybe they could add more special mobs with scripts so it doesn’t feel as braindead as it is now. A new game in 2023 shouldn’t have mindless NPCs acting as if it were still 1993.
My main is at level 71, and I really hate having to keep leveling it. It’s such a tedious chore, and the way I’m allowed/able to level is through those five activities and all these dungeons with five different layouts. It’s not what was promised, it’s not what I’m able to keep doing. Blizzard has taken watching paint dry to a new level.
Would I still do it all over again if it dropped tomorrow, 10/10? Yes!
Would I recommend the game to friends and foes alike? 100% Yes!
Will I continue playing the game and occasionally get mad about it? Yes!
This game was my top priority, my number one game of 2023 and beyond. I wanted to love it so much that I even took time off for vacation, almost divorced my wife , and lost some friends for this game! (just kidding) . I really want to love it…
