Game needs higher teirs

there are alot of people that go past the limits yall set. the game stops at torment 12 it should go beyond what anyone can reach. there should be a torment 20 so if you can hang you get items with ga,s. there are build doing 150 pits so thats torment 17 they might go past it. yall have a lack a reward for people who put in time and effort.

Not sure if serious?

Pit 150 should never have been achieved. Even less so in 3 minutes. The targets in S14 should be around 130, which is much better.

They addressing this next season. My druid could run pit 120 as fast as he could move this season. Now hes in t11 on PTR. Lol

Don’t worry, they are turbo nerfing nearly everything so getting to Torment 10 will be an accomplishment. Anything higher will be aspirational or only obtainable through bugs.

Most of the mage builds have been buffed. They all make Tier 12.

They have?

Did i miss something in the notes? I mostly saw nerfs.

No you didn’t. You waited for a streamer to tell you which build would most easily trivialize the entire game and then you did that. Come back when your “time and effort” can take a fire sorcerer to pit 150.

Bunch of clowns in here.

I wouldnt say T12 will be aspirational. Last time they said T4 was aspirational it took me an extra 30 min to farm and meet the gear check.

Game needs to be balanced and if T10 is the bar everything needs the sledgehammer approach. Don’t think it will happen tho as they are focused on seasonal meta builds.

100% they’re either a cheater with 20 affixes on their gear, a credit card swiper, or both. So of course it’s too easy.

my barb doing 120 trillion more then what the build calls for clearing 130s in 4 mins

No mage??? Only the ball of electricity and unstable currents received nerfs. Frozen orb, meteors, and iceshards were buffed.

With nerfs across the board next season, you’ll effectively get what you asked for. They won’t be adding tiers, they’re just going to bring character power down to a lower level, so you have more headroom.

In reality, this is probably the balance they wanted when LoH launched, but… they also wanted to sell expansions. So what they did instead was buff everything to ridiculous levels and allow everyone to roftlstomp T12 for a while, because they know almost everyone wants to be OP.

Now that they’ve got the sales, they can effectively do a soft reset on character power to bring it back to a place which is more appropriate, and better for the long term health of the game. They simply couldn’t have done it at LoH launch, because players are so sensitive to nerfs, it would have been a PR disaster.

Just like it is now. But again, the difference now is… they already got the sale.

Happy that you are excelling, but it is completely silly to be reliant on external factors (build guides, handouts, RMT, etc.) and then talk about how easy the game is.

If Pit 150 should never be achieved. Then it needs to be removed

Pit 150 is basically a bug check. If you can clear it, especially in 3 mins, then the devs know something is wrong. Actually, anything above 135 is likely suspicious to the devs.

This is the slippery slope the company set themselves into, it goes from Torment 12 to Torment 20 to Torment 28 and so forth with the suggestions.

Gaming companies are of course not in the business of educating gamers, but they should not introduce motivations for unhealthy gaming habits.

Why remove him??? He is the goal. But he shouldn’t be reached or people will ask for Pit 200. We must get close to him. That is the goal.
