been having the same problem all season also, sometimes it’s once a night, sometimes its 6-8xs a night, I’ve got a 4070 and 32 gigs of ram so thats not the issue, and I’ve done everything to try to fix it on my end; anyone know what’s going on?

Game has been crashing on my PC and my girlfriend’s PC ever since this season begun as well. No matter what I update from BIOS to drivers to Windows Updates in general on either of them, it persists. Game was rock solid before this season. It’s fun to insult Blizzard programmers in the crash reports for being inept and incompetent but it would be preferential for the game to simply work.

there appears to be a memory leak. game crashes pretty frequently now with an “out of memory” error. I have 64GB and a NV3060.

@[Kekistocracy] I think you’re right. Just before my game crashes, there seems to be a large amount of stutter, followed by the game feeling sluggish in areas that normally are smooth as silk. Usually within a few minutes the game will just crash.

I’ve tried using nVidia optimization settings, but it’s still the same. I’ve also shut down all other apps and overlays, but it’s persistently crashing at some point during play.

I’m using a 64GB RAM system, no XMP, running with an Intel 14700K. The game’s installed on a 2TB Samsung 980 Pro NVMe SSD and my graphics card is a 3080Ti. Windows 11 is up-to-date and (I know saying this annoys folk) I don’t have crashing going on with any other game I am playing, of which there are many.

I hope they fix this soon, because it’s sometimes happening mid boss fight and resetting my progress.

I had the exact same problem And I knew it wasn’t my hardware but then I tried something and the game stopped lagging and crashing it wasn’t perfect but it was a vast improvement I cleaned the cache in three area’s Go to Run in search area on tool bar ,Open Run As Administrator, Then Type Prefetch hit Ok it will ask permission say yes, empty cache some files that are in use will not let you delete them just hit ignore and delete the others. Then Open Run Again and Type Temp Do same thing. After that Open Run and Type %temp% and do the same thing empty the entire folder of cache. last step Defragment the HD that will take a while but let it finish then reboot. you will see a huge Difference I like to use Smart Defrag its a free version in case you didn’t know. Windows will do it but takes forever. Fast Defrag option on that program is nice. I hope this helps take care.

Same here, I’m at around 15 crashes in 2 hours

Ok at least I’m not the only one…crash multiple times daily…

If you clean the cache, you lose a lot of information like passwords and logins and so on.
For me not worth it.

You’re Thinking of Cookies essential with saved log in info it will not delete passwords and logins you will be fine this is stuff that slows the PC performance down and if you look at the date on the cache files some are years old, Deleting Browser Cache is the only thing that stored your saved passwords and log in the Blizzard Client is a Separate program that runs stand alone with out using a browser like some games do. I occasionally have to refresh my login after a certain time on the blizzard app, I also changed my Virtual memory the size is listed on your hard drive I doubled the number of mine on each panel and restarted my PC I can honestly say my game is running great since then. So if your memory says 1200 on the first box change it to 2400 for example, the bottom box will be higher like 5300 so change that to 10600 and click set. you will have to restart you’re PC after for change to take effect.

Add me to this list and all other crash lists that involve 3080Ti founders card. This is the only game that causes crashing. The farthest I get is the logging on screen right after the title. I remove the 3080Ti and swap with an older card and bam, no issues.

Hey! The game keeps crashing and it’s driving me insane. It always seems to happen at 2 hours.
I am on a 3070 rtx, 16 gbs and 5800x.
No reason I should be running to issues, when I run more intense games with no problems. crash diablo 4 - Pastebin.com

It was so bad today, I had a lot more crashes today then I have before.

I will change my pagefile and roll back my drivers to what people suggest on the forums, but if this is a memory leak, then the devs must address it, as these changes are just delaying a crash rather then fixing it.

Really depressing as it’s my one of the best games I’ve enjoyed in a lot time.

Having the same issue, usually crashes after about an hour. This started after getting Vessel of Hatred. I have a 3080 and tried all the suggested fixes and nothing works.

I’m with you.
Any solution maybe works for a while and then the game starts to crash more and more often until crashes almost immediately after entering the game.

I managed to finish the season journey deactivating crossplay from settings. But I am utterly alone on any server, playing on steam.
