After being queued my game is frozen in the start game menu, cant see my character and cant interact with anything and even when i close the game the music just keeps going on, having to close the program with task manager.

I am getting this as well. Post update I am getting <1min queues, however when I get in, I am just greeted with a screen that tells me to create a character or change realm.
I am also having to close the game via task manager when I alt+F4, which is the only way I can close the game.
Same issue here. I am running a repair scan to see if that fixes the issue, other than that I don’t know what to try. Hope this gets addressed soon
Oh good. So it isn’t just me. It was working earlier around 1pm EST, but when I tried again I get to that exact screen nothing happens.
i’m having this issue as well. I’ve noticed if i let the game hang on this screen for a long time (5-10min lol) eventually it will load but once in game i experience near unplayable rubberbanding
I am also having this issue. After reaching the hermits hut cutscene I got a blue screen of death and after restarting my computer I am now experiencing this same issue. I forgot to get the BSOD error code sorry blizzard.

I’m having the same. Game worked perfectly last night, I changed nothing. I hope they fix it soon.
Seems like waiting several minutes in the character screen works.
