Had 50 unused keys from WT3 seasonal mechanic. Ran around opened seasonal chests at level 60 when I entered WT4. Got mostly all BIS items by level 61.
I guess I’m done with the season.
I Already beat bosses on eternal with a level 80. They were funish.
Level 1-60 had a lot of fun, but Level 60+(WT4) is still very boring.
Itemization needs to be fixed or there will never be an end game.

I dont think you can have BiS at 61 with the new scaling.

IP scaling isn’t changing the game much.
Well, i agree with you but that is pretty much what the game is right now.
Once you have your aspects and build sorted, you are just grinding to get levels and higher IP items.
Whether that is worth it is up to the individual.

Tell me you didn’t read the patch notes without telling me.
You killed Beast of Ice and Uber Zir and Uber Grigoire and Uber Duriel?
May not change the game much, but thats the literal point of looter arpg. Grind for better loot.
Agreed, you will have all the stats you want super early, and then you simply look for the same stuff with higher item power. Hardly super exciting stuff.
your charachter feels and play the exact same at lvl 70 as it does in 100% perfect omega bis gear at lvl 100. Something needs to change to endgame itemization

season is done not by level but if you are having fun. So if you got your fill of fun in and now its not, congrats and start working on your honey-dew list!
for me, i stil want to do a few things, I’m only at chapter 5 on the season and unlocked rank 40 so I have a ways to go
we are all different people, it appears your end game/seaon done is based on pure items. For me my end game is unlocking all the achivements. Not sure if your BiS requirement isnt having a 925 item power level gear stuff
I don’t think BiS only means that your gear has (ancestral) at the end anymore. The 925 breakpoint is sort of like an Ancestral+. But if you’re satisfied with your progress, congrats!
Personally I look forward to the new bosses and being able to target uniques that may actually change up playstyle or enable new builds, etc.
But you are right, once I have the builds completed with a character and play around with them for a bit, I usually lose interest in that character shortly after. Doesn’t matter of they are level 74 or 100. I do think the OP is being overly dramatic by saying you can hit that point instantly when you enter WT4 by opening vamptide chests and theres no further interesting progression possible.
Fortunately I have multiple builds on multiple characters I’m interested in fooling around with.
There are a bunch of new uniques that can change up how your character plays and that you can only target farm from Duriel. Getting good rolls on the key aspects can also change things up (more resources and procs = less downtime / generator usage). And getting a lot more damage / armor can just generally make your build feel better to play. So until you’ve actually progressed a character from “just got to WT4” gear up to level 100+ endgame gear (with the season 2 patch), your claim that nothing changes is meaningless.
Eventually you are going to have every key element of your build at some level of power. If you have a build that doesn’t want any unique except Shako, then you might hit that point by 70 with some good aspect luck. Other builds might reach 100 and still not have all their items and powers and level 15 glyphs. Once you hit that point, you either grind out the higher numbers to push top content faster, or you grind for uber uniques.
Or you make a new character. Since the vampiric powers are randomized, there’s a bunch of new or very different builds in each class, and you can farm up some cool generic uniques now, making an alt to take advantage of a unique your main didn’t want is actually a reasonable progression path.
The game definitely needs more meat that’s for sure, we have a decent amount of potatoes though but could use more as well. That being said I’ll play until I’m bored then go play something else and wait for Season 3 to come out. Until I get bored though I’ll keep playing.
I think your goals are different than mine. My goals are to farm Uber items, get max Vampire powers and to push the limits of my build.
If ya dont have super uniques ya ain’t bis.
Getting a shako or grandfather or whatever wont change the feeling of the build at all.
Getting a mageblood or headhunter in PoE completely changes the feel of the build in PoE
Tbh, my build doesn’t benefit from any uber uniques. Shako is the only one that’s slightly better than a wash. I need all the aspects I can get so I don’t think i would sacrifice the aspect for shako. Uber uniques aren’t even that great or exciting to go hunting for.
apart from weapons you certainly can
No, no, it ends the first time you click the stash button and see that it’s full. Happens way earlier during WT1/2.
Or maybe it just begins…
Didnt read the patch notes?
Edit: guess i didnt read them very well lol
