The game crashes every time I open it. I have been playing the game in 1080p ULTRA settings smoothly for the whole campaign, and for a few days of playing the adventure mode. Suddenly one day I decided to turn the Texture quality from ultra to High just out of curiosity. I closed the game an hour later and now I am not able to start it again. Dear Blizzard, please fix this. I am blocked from playing the game.
Repro steps:
- Open diablo 4
- Wait for the login auth
Expected behaviour: The next step I expected was to navigate me to character selection screen
Actual behaviour: Game crashes after loading screen
I have tried multiple solutions, none of them worked:
- Reinstalling the game
- Reinstalling GPU drivers
- Scanning & repairing game files
- Changing graphical settings to min through Geforce Experience
- Restarting my PC
- Changing to default graphic settings through crash prompt
- Starting game as admin
- Running game in low color mode
