Game Crashed and PC wont start-SSD not showing

So i tried to open my inventory too quickly after entering town and my game crashed…
My pc was frozen and had to restart.

Now it takes 5 minutes to turn on and go into to the BIOS menu…

My OS is installed on my SSD which is no longer showing up…

What happened?

Improper shutdown, something got corrupted. Run a repair.

LOL holy crap… that’s pretty bad. Almost everyone on the forums is having difficulties logging in but I can’t believe a bug actually bricked your computer. Definitely hit up blizzard support. I’m not going to try logging in again till this is addressed cause screw that.

Sounds like your drive died. It happens.

In the Bios menu under Io ports>Usb configuration it is showing no mass storage devices

Diablo IV also made my wife leave me and kicked my dog on the way out. Stuff happens.

Drive failure, loose wires, or corrupt data.

Run a repair as suggested.
Check disk manager to see if it’s detected there.
Check bios to see if it’s detected there.
If no dice, open your case and check the wires to your SSD. Unplug it and plug it back in.

If it still doesn’t work, try the ssd in a different pc to see if it’s detected. If not, buy a new SSD.

There’s probably some more stuff you could try, but you’ll have to google for more insight.

The drive is dead. Blizzard won’t care. Sorry for your loss sir!

Yeah i know blizz wont care and thats fair as anyone could just say this with no proof and ask for money

I just have no idea whats happened and thought some people could help, and they are !

SSD failed or fried. Try unseating it and reseating it. If that doesn’t work, time to buy a new one.

PS. has or had nothing to do with Diablo or any other game.

It’s possible the game crashed because the SSD died, not that the game killed the SSD. How old was it?

My pc sounds like it’s going to fly off to the moon when playing Diablo IV. So I could totally see something like this(hardware trouble) happen to people. :grimacing:
