Game completely unplayable due to latency

My experience for the past week with this game has been absolutely atrocious because of insane lag and rubberbanding. Its virtually unplayable for me (in EU Romania to be more specific, but it seems it happens everywhere). And funny enough, in the past few days it has gotten WORSE, now literally the moment I enter the game on my character, I can move around for about 30 seconds max then it rubberbands into oblivion and everything stops moving and I either have to wait (and die) for it to come back for sometimes even 30 MINUTES (yes you heard that right) OR I just relog and it happens again. Its gotten from being a chore to finishing a dungeon to basically being completely and utterly unable to play period. Before any advices come up, I tried everything, belive me ,EVERYTHING, from disabling antivirus, firewall, trying VPN, the SSDP solution, checking my internet, packet loss, absolutely everything I could possibly try and I can, with absolute certainty confirm this is 100% Diablo’s fault. Even other games FROM BLIZZARD work no problem. I kid you not Ive never had in 15 years of gaming such a ridiculously bad connection problem with a AAA title. And worst of all, Blizzard has said NOTHING about this, not even a peep, their twitter is filled with self patting on the back on how good the game is, well, cool, maybe thats true, I wouldnt know because I cant play the damn thing. so, as thousands of people have asked before, Blizzard, CAN WE PLEASE AT LEAST GET A CONFIRMATION YOU ARE WORKING ON IT? totally unacceptable behaviour and I know I sound salty, because I very much am, but this is getting insane and I didnt pay 70 Euros to not play…

Same here, went from 80ms yesterday to 2000 today, i kid you not 2000ms, never ever have I had such bad latency, makes you wonder where the servers are located for Eu, cause its definitely nowhere near Eu.

Well, use this to check for packet loss specifically regarding Diablo IV.

Yeah, there have been reports in the EU of some bad latency the last few days, but not sure its the servers, it seems to be on the way to them.

Run those tests above and post the results here, we can take a look.

The loss percentage is 0, which is great.

I see it had some momentary high latency showing above, but yeah, in your case, not seeing a real reason for it not be working.

Thanks for this though! It helps! It may mean that somewhere further down the path its getting blocked, but at least its not local to you.

Unfortunately, they often don’t say anything till they are sure they have an answer. Its easier to say nothing till you are sure it won’t be wrong I guess.

All we can do is be patient, even if we don’t want to be.
