I already have G-Sync enabled for both full-screen and windowed modes. However, I still see significant tearing when V-Sync is disabled in the Diablo IV options, (most notably in the world map).
Not sure why you wouldn’t have that on in the first place. Of course its going to tear.
It does this on Overwatch if I turn off V-Sync even with G-Sync enabled.
What can really screw the game up is the nvidia reflex. Try turning that off. I use that on Overwatch, but not here.
Apparently, you don’t understand how G-Sync/FreeSync works.
I understand how its supposed to work. But it doesn’t always. Hence the point.
But hey, do whatever you want. Not the first game I have ran into that didn’t look or work the way you expect it to.
And Diablo IV is not running for many as they would expect it to. So why would something like that make sense at this point? lol
Yea no. This is a modern DX12 title. There is no excuse for G-Sync not working here Blizzard. Not only that, but max frame limit set via Nvidia Control panel also doesnt work. Fix your sheet BLIZZARD
blurbusters. com/gsync/gsync101-input-lag-tests-and-settings/14/ This guide helped me dial it in properly. Key take aways were set max frames to 3 fps under your monitor max herts, enable vysnc in control panel but never in games.
have done this for years but d4 is crap and has crap servers as we can see this weekend
