Future of D4 hangs on S 4️⃣

I wonder sometimes if when we complain about no endgame we are running into the issue of D4 gameplay being a cookie clicker. How interesting is it really to fight “bosses” with one hit death mechanics.

D4 doesnt need more bosses. It needs more gameplay mechanics that are interesting to engage with in the gameplay loop.

Fact is, this specific flavor of gameplay feels dated and boring. The only thing that differentiates classes from one another are the animations. Other than that its just click monster-monster die. Or click button - screen explode.

Its unimaginative and unambitious.
