I have the same issue. Tried a workaround that involved doing the event outside then quitting game an going back in but nothing. please fix it

Same here and i going to try this :

  1. Enter cave, event or not
  2. Check barricade, if it can be attacked, its bugged
  3. Exit cave, relog
  4. Repeat until barricade is NOT targetable, then talk to her
  5. She will move up and the quest will work

Finally got through this bugged quest.

First the bad news. I found no combination of dance moves or pagan god rituals to make it work on demand.

Good news, repeated attempts led to RNG success and eventually, it just worked.

FWIW recent history was:

  • I had abandoned the quest from the journal.
  • Next real-life day, I’d just logged into a fresh game session (was all the way out beforehand, ‘exit diablo’ out.) and
  • joined World Tier 1 before attempting the quest.
  • When I arrived in the area of the cave, there was a ‘slay all’ variant of the nearby Event which I completed before entering the cave.
  • As mentioned above, the quest just worked this time, scripts in the cave did not bug.

Completing this quest also unlocks another quest starting from the same Chief. This will be good news for those that have only a couple of side quests remaining in the region.

What worked for me (after doing everything there, total of 5 attempts)

  • getting 4th world tier
  • doing event before entering the cave first

I had already cleared the event before doing this questline, I’ve tried both in WT1 and 4, I’ve tried rushing the barricade, and stood and waited with the group. I have also pulled aggro on the mobs drawing them close to the barbarians which trigger them to engage, but then they stop again once the enemies are dead.

I am at a loss. I’m stuck and can’t complete this quest at all.

Oh well…

Same here, she and her team not charging to the barricade. nothing happening after dialog

This is coincidental. I have cleared the event twice and still had the bug inside the cave.

Same here. tried all the “fixes” never works.

Cleared bloodsoaked crag and came back and it worked. No clue if it’s related or I just got the 1% roll where it didn’t bug out after clearing Crag (the dungeon right next to it)

Still broken. Clearing the event upstairs doesn’t help. Relogging doesn’t help.

can confirm, still broken. done every suggestion 5x over. why has this not been addressed yet by blizzard.

I was going to suggest that to you earlier when you posted, but you said you tried all the fixes 5x already and nothing worked.

That workaround has been posted in many other threads on the forums already.

relogged several times, did the event outside before and so on

cant progress

tried at ps5, ps4 and pc
