Seriously, when will this bug be fixed Blizzard? Fury Against Fate cannot be completed under any circumstances. After Ealda gives her speech inside the cave, she’s supposed to charge alongside the player into the Cannibal feeding ground. Instead, she & her posse stand around like bumps on a log… I’m guessing Blizzard’s QA team was asleep at the wheel when they’re supposed to catch things like this & fix them. Seriously, stop focusing on shop patches & fix the mess that is Fury Against Fate. It’s bad enough you all can’t seem to keep the servers up & running half the time given the rash of updates/login issues/long queue times. Beyond ridiculous.

Ran into the same bug. Feeding ground cleared of the existing enemies. No further waves. Nothing happens.

pls fix it ! unable to do this quest, npc’s stay in position and dont move.

I just had this today, the NPCS are derps and just stand by the entrance to the cavern, you kill the few cannibals and nothing else happens. A fix would be nice =/

Still bugged. Had this one for a few days. May try to delete it and go back to the Crane Camp and try again, havent yet though.

I finally just completed it… no tips or tricks just multiple login/logout and talking to the npc over multiple days until they finally charged the gate.

Quest still not fix. Got to the Clear the cannibal feeding ground. Clear it, but nothing happened.

Yup, still not fixed. Even tried doing it on different world tiers but no luck. C’mon Blizzard this bug is getting a little long in the tooth

Agreed. Issues like this should take priority vs shop patches & endless maintenance cycles that do nothing but cause server disconnects/long queue times…

I’ve had the same bug for a few days running. I’ve made sure there is no active Event right outside the cave before entering… talk to Ealda and … nothing. Clear the existing cannibals and… nothing. Jump outside to make sure no event is active. log out of game and back in… nothing. Please please get this one fixed.
Also having the same issue. Tried dropping the quest, clearing event, getting quest back. Still no progress.
Not sure if it will work for everyone, but I finally got around the bug by waiting until one of the frequent Events started in the area just outside the cave, completing the event THEN going into the cave and talking to Ealda. Then they charged into the cave like they are supposed to. Worth a try to anyone having issues.

Darkhelmet’s solution worked. He may be my father’s brother’s nephew’s cousin’s former roommate, but he knows how to get around this bug.

Indeed this is still an issue. I’ve tried many logins, many world quest completions, all of the above combinations and I’ve come to the conclusion that Ealda must work for my local council insofar there is ZERO desire to offer any assistance whatsoever.

there isn’t a fix for this bug. clearing the event doesn’t work. dropping and picking it back up doesn’t work. some people are able to complete the quest after they do these things, but they just got lucky. I have been trying for weeks to do everything to complete this quest and nothing works. I have made around 60 attempts on the quest so far and haven’t been lucky enough to complete. I have decided to no longer attempt this quest until we see a patch note of “Fury Against Fate is now properly working”, but anything else is just “repeat and pray it works this time”.
