I mean it’s pretty straightforward discussion of tips, tricks, you know, stuff
I guess I’ll have to go with Impale (Rogue, Core)
Just love it overall the design and the gameplay style, sometimes I think that it may in fact be probably one of the best designed abilities in any RPGs tbh
It’s also especially interesting when combined with Inner sight (a game within a game, almost like quest-like fights ) but with the exception in boss fights it tends to work worse than Combo points in general
I like chain lightning, the upgrade (to the skill itself by the developers) where it can bounce off your character to then rebound back to enemies is a very nice upgrade, I like this version of chain lightning better than previous diablo games.
it was my favorite for a bit but then i realized it can be auto casted in an OP way from that leggo and it lost all it’s charm.
now that i think about it theres no ability in particular where i’m thinking “that’s so fun i wanna cast that all day and ill be thinking about it in my sleep” type of thing.
had a lot of fun in general but no particular “jackpot” ability for me.
When you stab both your daggers/swords into one of your enemys in a huge pull and then dash trough the whole group and they come flying back to you trough all of them mass murdering everything… Aaaaaaah, that feeling. Rogue, Twisting blades
Sorc electric ulti is freaking awesome. Just railing off all your other skills for free while you spam your generator at massively increased atk speed because you put on fast weps and the atk speed for basics aspect on your ammy. Just overwhelming amounts of lightning everywhere. Pretty cool.
Barbarians Whirlwind: When you have the Fury, it feels really satisfying to spin and win.
Necromancer Corpse Explosion: Using dead bodies as land mines feels good if not a little twisted. The damage output is so good and feels good to use.
Druid Lightning Storm: When you hit several enemies with it, it feels like you have become the Lightning God Thor bringing down divine wrath on your foes.
Rogue Shadow Imbuement: Once I got this skill, I felt like I completed my class fantasy of imbuing effects on to my weapons to make them more lethal. The Imbuing skills in general feel really nice.
I actually like this one as well, but problem is it’s a force channel (no stutter try again type stuff), and it can miss targets even if visually hit right on the spot
If they could make it that up to 0.5 sec. you can stop the channel move and then continue that would be awesome
The other problem with Lightning Storm is that at that exact very moment when you start feeling like Thor you run out of stuff
True but for the 2 seconds you get to channel it and it hits several enemies, you feel godly. If you target someone close, it only hits them which feels like a waste of resource building honestly. They need to change it to always hit 8 targets minimum when it channeled for the cost.
Necro - Blight (core). When I got the ability for it to pull nearby mobs into center, it was just a lot of fun. Mixed with Corpse Tendrils given vulnerability and then corpse exploding on top of it was great. Didn’t feel nearly as cheesy as those other Necromancers running around with blood mist explosions.
Oh and I almost forgot Shadow Step and some other Rogue abilities. When you kill an enemy with them their heads pop off and go flying in the air and their headless bodies drop to the ground. The first time I noticed I was like So funny!
