Not sure if this gives any insight into why or whats causing the issue with Fullscreen mode, as it still persists even with Windowed (Fullscreen) occasionally. I noticed your temporary fix was to just remove Fullscreen options altogether (lol).
Anyway - I noticed that when my monitor is in “143.94 hz” refresh rate, because it has that and “59.9 hz” as another option, is when fullscreen can’t handle it. It flashes and turns monitor off and struggles.
But, if I set my monitor first, to 59.9hz and then set D4 to Fullscreen or Windowed Fullscreen, save, and then go set my monitor to 143.94 hz – it’s fine. It no longer struggles.
No idea? But maybe that provides insight? I have a 3080 Ti too.
PC still restarted once this weekend from D4, clicking “craft” in town. And yes, I have the NVIDIA patch they released prior to this weekend.
