please blizzard, just give us the offline mode. why do i have to play with latency just to see some other pg walking around…

that’s why even if i spent 70$ i’m not playing at the moment. also if you would explain why it is so important to be online in this game. the old solution with “online hosted rooms” was the right way to do it.

i’m a costumer, not a victim. i new what i paid for but to ask nicely as you say, there’s nothing wrong. and after i saw what use the game has of the online option i figured i wasn’t asking nothing that could change the strucure of the game.

Probably because they bought D4 thinking it was like the previous Diablo games. Primarily a solo experience or with a small group of friends. An understandable mistake.
And it’s not an unreasonable request for an offline mode, especially considering how poorly the online portions of the game are utilized. Outside of world bosses and legion events, there really isn’t any use to the online components.

Yeah when I feel strongly about something I tend to look into it a bit.
If I wanted offline mode that badly I’d be sure to see if the game I was about to buy had that option.

well thats the thing. you dont “own” diablo 4. You purchased a license that grants you access to its online services =)
nothing wrong with wishing for an offline mode, but yea, as blizzard stated multiple times, its not going to happen.
devs have stated countless times prior to release and since release, there will not be an offline mode.

They could add an offline mode and allow people to mod the game as they see fit. That would be kinda cool.
It appears that the architecture of the game is not peer to peer as in all the clients (your game) talk to each other with the server just being the broker passing along information. The server seems to do a lot more and have a lot more control over gameplay aspects.
If it was the first option they probably could easily make an offline mode but with the 2nd they’d have to rebuild everything which is very unlikely to happen and if it did it would probably come with a price tag to justify the expense of doing it, you’d be essentially asking them to create a new product.

No reason for offline mode. Just look how bad LE offline is. When you created a char in offline mode you can’t switch to online mode to play with your friends.
I never have any lags or other problems. Maybe its not a server issue, its your provider or your Network at home the issue.
I would love this in diablo 4 just because diablo 4’s servers and open world loading is very very bad.
I don’t see them offering an offline mode with how the game currently works. They would have to rework how the open world works, among other things I imagine. Not that it would be impossible mind you, but it probably wouldn’t be worth the investment looking at it from Microsoft/Blizzard’s end.
This feature has been asked for since before launch, and they’ve yet to comment at all on it, much like PvP, but doesn’t hurt to ask. Good luck. 
Theyve already answer questions about this multiple times in campfire chats and dev updates.
There will be no offline mode.
