FSR 3.1 - please support this!

Hello,

Now that AMD has released the FSR 3.1 SDK (as of July 9th), can we expect an update to FSR with Season 5?

FSR 3.1 has better upscaling and includes frame generation support. Both of these would go a long way for a large amount of Diablo IV players; specifically the Steam Deck would benefit greatly from this.

Furthermore, the game already supports DLSS frame generation and as of now, works well at both a low framerate and high framerate. Please extend this support for more users by implementing FSR 3.1.

Thanks!

3.1? Like Windows? Wrong century!

They can’t even properly fix DLSS Frame Gen and you want them to add support for another one?

DLSS frame generation has been fixed for a month.

No, the crashes have been fixed. The FPS stutters have not. They have it setup to enable/disable Frame Gen whenever you enter a Vendor, Stash, Menu, Map, etc making it extremely difficult to use.

If they can’t even get that right, they shouldn’t be moving on to support other methods. Not until they can do the first one correctly.

You would think that… but here we are with another class in 2 months! :grinning:

On 1.5.1 DLSS FG is still working without issue. I’m not experiencing any noticeable delay when opening menus/maps that isn’t there on my Steam Deck or non-40 series PC.

Blizz, please add in FSR 3.1 support, this would go a long way.

Well, let’s bump this topic.
Blizzard should finally give us FSR 3.1.
I mean there will probably no new content until January, so why not pushing this along side fixing bugs and balance.

iam playing in 2k at high/ultra and when i try FSR all goes blurry and disgusting so i just turn all off…not sure if it me …

Because they’re using the outdated FSR 2.1. We’ve had two major revisions to the upscaler alone (FSR 2.2 and FSR 3.1) since FSR 2.1 released. Blizzard really ought to update this, but given all upscalers are currently disabled and broken at the moment, I’m not keeping my fingers crossed anymore.
