Diablo 4 always starts off on the wrong foot, and I’m not sure it’s learned from past mistakes with each new season and expansion.
The hardcore grinding for seasonal characters just seems excessive. The lack of replayability makes it hard to justify starting from scratch every time, especially when aiming for level 300 and maxing out glyphs. Sure, some may argue that you don’t need to fully level to enjoy the new content, but that doesn’t resonate with everyone.
I can’t help but feel that the game is trying to mimic the breadth of PoE’s content, which offers so much variety that players often forget they’re not capped yet. It would be great if Diablo 4 could find a balance that keeps the grind engaging without feeling like an endless chore.
