My game crashed while briefly tabbed out. When I try to reload my character, I can select it, but the game hangs on the loading screen indefinitely with the horadrim symbol spinning in the lower right corner.
Update 1:
Found a fix that works for this.
Create and load into a new character. Skip the cinematic and exit the game. should be able to log into the affected character after that. Solution credit goes to Rosebone:

Attempting to enter the snake cave in Hawezar for the campaign has restarted the issue again. Hoping a dev sees this to take a look into the issue.
Update 3:
This seems to have resolved itself. I was able to enter the dungeon and complete the quest after waiting a few hours.
