Every single time I try to play Diablo 4, I get kicked out of the entire game, and when I log in the game freezes at “logging into server” and I gotta hit control alt deleted to close the entire game. Then I gotta go into the LocalFiles for Diablo 4 and change the disable Chrome Effect to either 0 or 1 for the game to actually work and that’s frustrating every single time. Please fix this situation. It’s a big problem when wanting to play the game.
There is quick handmade ‘‘fix’’ a lot of players use.
When your game starts, skip the original Diablo Logo loading screen mini cinematic but don’t skip the Vessel Of Hatred one.
OR Just don’t skip either of them.
I had the same issue as you, and for some reason it works. People have been having this issue for a while now since VoH launched - I saw some other forum threads.

The timing trick doesn’t always work though. I’m stuck with having to edit the file or about 1 in 10 launches work and I’ve tried various combos skipping one or both animations or none. It’s a bug in their code and we’re stuck dancing around with kludgy hacks to deal with it and they haven’t even seemed to notice it’s a problem.
Adding my voice to this topic. Same problem, gotten much worse recently. I have not been able to get in the game AT ALL for 12 hours, it freezes at Logging in to Diablo 4 every single time. Changing things in localprefs has no effect for me.
