I try to launch the game and it says my free trail has ended and I have to buy the expansion. I own the expansion but whatever I want to play so I try to buy it again, won’t let me, says already in library on battle net app, and on the website it says “Good news! You already have access to this product.”

I’m on PC game pass ultimate. I’ve done the scan and repair, checked for updates, restarted everything, sent a support ticket… at a loss.
UPDATE ----
Support replied saying to delete battle net files, change password, then unistall and re-install battle net. I’ll try that and update this again.
UPDATE #2 Did everything support told me, nothing has changed. Still says free trial has ended.
****Final update: battle net wasn’t reading our active game pass subscriptions. This was resolved sometime today.
just had the same problem pop up, pc player have a copy of the game through games pass(and bought it on xbox…preordered), bought the ultimate edition of VoH expansion n just got booted this is the end of your trial screen as soon as i hit level 25 while playing on PC
Yeah I just got booted, told my free trial is up, I have gamepass, paid for the expansion (also paid for the battle pass too…)
And I own the game on XboneoneXpro111 (prefer PC so i can use KB for typing and mouse for poking).
my god also happened to me today , paragon 91 cant play game said i have reached the max level for free trial even though i have xbox games please someone helppp
I assume they’re aware by now. Same issue here. Base game on PC Gamepass, expansion paid for. Getting the Free Trial Over message. I also have the paid base version on XBox on the same account, but since you can’t share paid games for some dumb reason that doesn’t help.
There seems to be a disconnect between Xbox and Battle.net. Battle.net shows my Game Pass as Inactive while Xbox shows it as Active (which it is). Maybe a patch issue but who knows which service is the problem…all the same company, you’d think it wouldn’t be an issue…I still haven’t seen anything else…The good news is if you have a Spiritborn, you can still log in and play it for another “trial.”
UPDATE: From the Battle.net dashboard: “We’re aware of an issue where Xbox Game Pass users on Battle.net are no longer seeing their Game Pass perks and are actively investigating the matter. Thank you for your patience!”
I guess we just wait…

Same problem here, I have two open tickets but they have no idea what I’m talking about. I even sent a gif showing that I try to confirm the connection to my Game Pass and it never confirms!
Yup, same here level 53, log out for bed wake up today and I can log in on all my eternal characters but the one I made yesterday is locked behind “You need to own the base game, your free trial has ended” It’s no wonder the player base is low and why PoE 2 is crushing it. Stupid bugs like this will put the final bullet into D4!! So mad right now.
I did a “test” by trying to buy the game again… D4+VESSEL… I got the message that “you do not have permission to buy the expansion at this time”… lol!!! It seems that the BLIZZARD people “ARE LOST”!!!
I also have this problem. I didn’t get the you dont have permission thing when i checked if i could buy it again. instead i got the message “Good News, You already have access to this!”
