Only a small studio with lean staffing & technical grasp of their own product can afford $80 skins in this genre - heck, make it $100!

yea, a lot of technical grasp there. I mean, they had over a year of time to see what people wanted in d4… yet didnt manage to implement it ugh.
let alone, every patch they do needs like 6 hotfixes lol. super trained team.

thats sounds like your perception is a bit off shrugs

you might not believe it, but people exist that enjoy d4, while also seeing things they want improved. but i guess if it doesnt match your opinion, they are “defenders” :S

I’ve seen 1 person who blindly defends the game beyond a shadow of a doubt. I’ve actually seen more people who claim to hate the game, don’t play it, but still post on the forums though.

Then in the middle you have those who actively play it, but give constructive criticism about various aspects of the game, both good and bad. Now as far as the person you’re responding to goes, it’s rather obvious what side they sit on, and how they see things. Even if it’s not based on fact.
