I’m having an issue where at some point, my game goes from 190fps to 40 and stays there forever.
It only goes back to normal when I close the game and open it again.
I’ve tried lowering the graphics quality, enabling and disabling v-sync, switching between windows, going from one city to another, but without success.
I noticed that in some moments that the fps is low, the game goes back to 190 for 1 or 2 seconds and goes to 40 again.
It’s not just the fps that’s low, I have constant input lag and stuttering.
Specs:
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Eight-Core Processor (16 CPUs), ~3.7GHz
Memory: 32768MB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 12
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti
software running while playing:
Discord
Razer Synapse
NVIDIA Broadcast
Logitech G-hub
Microsoft Edge
Nvidia Broadcast causes this when noise removal effect is on. Unfortunately have not seen any fix/acknowledgement yet but hoping for something quick. Back to the old days of PTT for now.
Having a similar issue, will start playing and game will run at 150fps fine, then over an hour or two of playing the framerate will slowly drop to 30-40fps and then the game will just crash. Maybe it’s some kind of memory leak, not seeing anything in task manager. Will update if I figure anything out.
EDIT: I disabled the windows game bar DVR and it seems to have improved the situation, or maybe the game just decided to work this time.
Hi, i have similar issue. i played non stop for more than 8 hours straight then my fps stays at 30-40 then crash.
I restarted the game but it crashed after 5 min. it seems like some kind of memory leak.
