Disabling “Microsoft Device Association Root Enumerator” seems to help.
RTX3090 with drops every 10 seconds.
Disabled SSDP services in services.msc and everything is OK now.
Is there any response from blizzard about this specific issue everyone is having or we are just still waiting? early access is looking like getting to attempt to play AFTER its live for everyone else.
Same here. 4090 with a 990 PRO SSD. Apparently it’s a game issue. You get stutter every now and then but mostly during something is loading.
It’s probably mostly due to them removing the exclusive fullscreen option and then refusing to acknowledge it or fix it.
Did you have to restart your game/PC for it to work?
This is pretty much it. I literally haven’t gotten past the first map because the I’m permanent 4-5 FPS from my audio devices being polled 20+ times a second…
Still just waiting on them to acknowledge it sometime before the EA is over…
Thanks for the clarification. Followed those instructions, public unticked, hit cancel when prompted. Still permanent 3-4 FPS unfortunately… Thanks for trying to help though.
so since day one early access i have had various issues with lag in game even clicking on a vendor would take 10-30 seconds to load, most dungeons take up to 5 minutes to load pretty much unplayable… i have now found a fix i reduced my Textures to medium from high and removed hardware acceleration in my battlenet launcher and now its fixed game is running fine. i do however need to reboot my machine after playing a few hours for my VRAM ramps up in usage in game not sure if thats a memory leak issue?
i7 intel - 11700F, Geforce 3060ti 8gb, 32 gb ram, NVMe 1 tb SSD.
Probably the same issue here, im playing with a rtx4070ti, ryzen 7 5700x… fps is staying cool at 120, but when I’m in the city or close by or on some stronghold it freezes and jumps to 50,60, freezes again and comes back to 120, this happens over and over again, like screenshots… someone have the same?
same, 12700k 4070ti 32gb
Hello Everyone,
I want to share a solution that has dramatically reduced stuttering in my game and stabilized the FPS. Your results may vary, but it’s worth giving it a try if you’re experiencing similar issues.
Here’s a step-by-step guide based on my experience:
Remember, every system is unique so results may vary. Always be careful when altering system settings and only do so if you’re comfortable with it. It worked for me and it’s my hope that this can be of help to others facing similar issues.
Best of luck and happy gaming!
Long story short though we should not need to do any of these things though.
The game needs to be better optimised and patched up by blizzard.
You are a golden god my man
I tried absolutely everything in this thread, even went against my better judgement and tried the public network setting, but THIS was what fixed it just cause I leave my Index plugged in.
Thank you heaps.
Been messing with various settings to see what helped and didn’t. I didn’t have a single stutter all day after turning Water Simulation Quality and Reflections Quality to low. I turned them back to High and Stutters came back within a minute. Back to low and gone again.
Still having issues, no matter what setting or home remedy people can make up. zzzzzz waiting for EA to start STILL
Disable Reflex & DLSS, and cap the foreground framerate to 144FPS. Reflex seems to be causing a lot of issues with D4 on it’s own.
I dont use NVIDIA i have AMD
Also have the Radeon equivalent attempt on and off no luck
