Correct. The updates even included microcode changes to scenarios where cpu usage was low and voltage was spiking too high, causing instability.
The fixes even applied to issues with 12th gen. Which no one was really reporting, but were in fact suffering from the same problems as 13th and 14th gen. Speaking from experience.
