Frame Generation causes lag spike when opening/closing npc window

RTX 4070 with latest driver.

I noticed that when i turn on frame generation, there is a noticeable lag spike when talking to or leaving a NPC dialogue window such as the blacksmith or occulitist or any of the similar NPC.

Doesn’t matter if DLSS is turned on or off.

Anyone know notice the same thing?

To a lesser degree, once in while.

I run with full ultra settings, Frame Gen, DLSS@ DLAA, and with RT enabled, but I have some of the RT set a bit lower.

4080 Super, 12900k, 32GB DDR5, Win 11P @100FPS on a 32" curved 1440p display.

no i meant only at the NPC

Yes, I understood.

I see a slight hesitation once in a while when visiting/leaving a vendor, which would be similar, but I may experience it occasionally at a lesser degree with better hardware, if that makes sense.

But I run the Frame Gen all the time. In fact the game ran worse for me when they broke Frame Gen during the start of the current season. I had to completely disable RT while Frame Gen was unavailable to maintain 100+ FPS.

well this stutter/lag spike at the vendor makes frame gen unusable for me.
