Is anyone else having problems with zir winterglass drops? I’ve done about 30 zirs (both normal and tormented) and none of them dropped the amulet. The only one i’ve dropped was from helltides. Does anyone know if the zir drops are weighted?

Saw another thread about this, so I wouldn’t be surprised. I have only gotten one and it came from tormented Zir. But he’s only dropped one in about 30 tries, I realize that’s not many but you figure it should be more than one drop.

I dunno, but I already found 6 Mythic uniques, but only 3 Fractured Winterglasses. Just saying!

Think i done around 22-25 tormented Zir runs and got 1

The weirdest is that since the amulet was released, ppl have been complaining about zir loot table. I wonder if it’s something that d4 team overlooked. Anyways, i’ll just try to farm a better one outside zir. Thank you all for the replies!
Classic case of RNG.
I have had 4 winterglass (1 of those with GA on CDR) drops in 10-15 kills where 5 of those where tormented Zir.
Meanwhile I still haven’t gotten a single uber though I’ve done around 30 tormented kills so far scattered between all tormented Bosses.
Last season I got 3 ubers in less than 20 kills

Just note that RNG is designed to get worse the longer you play with the same character. This is intentional.
Test this out in s6 and start a new character. For that season, youll have great RNG. The fountain of double and triple GAs will be flowing. The following season the fountain of good RNG will slow down.

Same issue for me both normal and tormented runs around 50 or so and no Winterglass.

I have 4 stash tabs full of uniques and I’ve only found a single winterglass. It has 0.1 cdr on the frost orb explosion and is kind of useless honestly. The build sucks with that being so low.
They should give us a system like the ubers where you can salvage uniques to build one. I’d gladly dump 20 or 30 uniques into one i actually want.

Just your RNG, I got 2 last night from a single rotation.
Some accounts have bad RNG seeds. Meaning they are configured to have poor drops rates of useful items and or items with double GAs. Create a new character and youll notice a difference

Sadly I kinda feel this theory is true based from my personal experience. Since S0 my Uber RNG is bad. Never got one.
In S5, I already got like 8-10 SOLO. I logged more hours back in older seasons

I killed him 12 times yesterday and got 11 boots. Last season I killed him nearly 100 times and never got a razorplate. I think Zir has a really messed up.

Glad it’s not just me. I’m also on 30 Zir fights without a single Winterglass drop (nor has it dropped anywhere else for this or my other 3 S5 characters). I guess the RNG gods do not favor me.

what a weird thing to say. rng usually fluctuates, but it evens out eventually ll the time. the only reason it doesnt sometimes, is by programming flaws.
They were a lot more common in S4.
This has been extensively tested and validated by many differnt users over a substancial amount of characters.
Personally, For my eternal accounts with heavy game play, i have zero double GAs over the last 2 months to drop.
this testing is mostly done by too small sample sizes. So im very sceptical here. For example i did like 600 tormented Bosses, and i didnt had much outliers in mythic droprates or too much non GA. So i tend to not believe this testing “some guys” did.

Yah. You make a lot of assumptions on sample size / some guys without asking any questions. Sample size was good enough to prove the hypthesis.
Believe what you want at the end of the day. Im 100% convinced through my own testing alone.
I went from 0 drops of double GAs from eternal characters to persistent double and triple GA drops on a new seasonal character. When that seasonal character met a threshold (after passing through to the eternal realm), the uber and double+ ga drops stopped immediately. After 4 weeks with that last character, no ubers and no double GAs.
The RNG is rigged without a doubt.
